Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

like its silly but genuinely it's frustrating that abinary people cannot have kinky gender affirming sex to the same extent binary people can. if you don't want to be called a girl or a boy your options for sexy gendered pet names are. nothing? there are other options but not ones that are specifically/exclusively gendered, just not in a binary way. which blows hard. and it feels like despite the jokes people make about this issue, & then jokes about how all proposed options are worse than being called slurs, nothing is actually changing for us. because everything that is blatantly connected to our existence is cringe and stupid and we should all just be fine staying quiet and working around our gender or just sucking it up and aligning ourselves with a binary.

That's the thing! I don't really know of any! Pretty much every time someone suggests new nonbinary-gendered words, people respond with "but that sounds kind of like this other word so now we can never use it :/" or "it sounds too cringe" so even when people do suggest them, they don't catch on because no one wants to risk Being Cringe

I do think we should rehabilitate the word "enby" though. Someone mentioned it in the notes but I feel like we can't ignore how exorsexist cringe culture kind of tainted that word? Like, I have seen a lot of older nonbinary people who don't really engage in younger online queer culture who happily use "enby." Which is not to say that everyone who dislikes using it for themselves is Wrong(tm), but I feel like a lot of people just started insisting it was infantilizing and stupid and that we should just use "person," which meant the one frequently used nonbinary noun got tainted. I don't know the history of that process very well but from my own memory I feel like it coincided with exclus & transmeds shit and the need for those kinds of people to, if they were not fully against nonbinary people, to distinguish the Good, Normal nonbinary people (who didn't challenge exorsexist beliefs) from the Bad, Stupid nonbinary people (who dared to yknow. be nonbinary in ways that might be confusing & off-putting to people). Exorsexism is honestly not discussed in depth very much & imo that leads to people having ingrained biases against anything that's too overtly nonbinary.

Anyways. I think "enby" is the most well-established alternative, and I don't think it would be a bad idea to try and normalize that word again, especially in sexual contexts. But my advice would be that we need to, in general, get more comfortable with nonbinary people being more than quietly neutral in ways that don't disturb anyone. We need to get comfortable with folks who don't just want to use the standard English neutral versions of words, who use neopronouns, who have "contradictory" sexualities, who want their gender to be a presence of nonbinarity and not just absence of binarity.
