“I’m pretty sure she wants to toss me off a cliff some days but other than that it seems to be going fine.  I mean who doesn’t want to toss me off a cliff some days so that’s nothing new”  he shrugged.  He kicked the ground a bit and nodded.  “Yeah a lot in an understatement but what should be on my mind isn’t there.  Its not about what happened as much as what could and my love life.  Or lack there of.”

        “She sure sounds like a charmer - I get it, though. I have days that I’d love to push one or two people off a cliff. Still, good to hear it’s not going to bad.” She chuckled slightly and nodded. “Hey, thinking about life outside of this mess isn’t a bad thing. Reminds people why we’re doing what we do - so we can have that other stuff. Just make sure you don’t let it drag you down. And I doubt your love life is that bad.”

“charming as ever, i see.” zara mused ironically, rolling her eyes at eric’s compliment before frowning upon hearing his words that followed his previous ones. “i just came here on my break. as always, i was too lazy to prepare lunch and i didn’t feel like eating at the cafeteria at work. how about you– how’s life been treating you?”

“Well its treating me that is for sure”  he nodded as he watched her for a bit and shrugged not sure what to do right now as it was.  “Im just getting away from every one for now.  not that this is really the place to get away from life but its better than the institute”

IT WAS A pretty rare sight to meet a mundane at greene’s deli– a place so popular among warlocks and other downworlders. surely that was the reason why everybody’s eyes were on the brunette as soon as she entered the small building. after all those years of visiting the deli, zara had learned how to cope with it– after all, a few downworlders knew her by now and welcomed her with open arms every time. “do i have something on my face?” she wondered out loud after being sick of being stared at by the person next to her. “staring is really impolite.”

“No its just your general face Zara you look good today”  Eric laughed.  Zara was another reason Eric’s father stopped talking to him not that he minded.  “Oh wait nope you look the same I was mistaken”  He laughed as he went back to decided what he was going to get.  “What are you after today?”

“Yeah I dont mind we all get clumsy now and then we just don’t have the bravery to show it”  he nodded as he went to work.  “Just what has happened I know i shouldn’t because she might actually hit me.  but i worry about Octavia”

Eric walked right by Seraphina and wasn’t paying her much mind untill he smelled it.  “Is that a pizza?“ He asked walking backwards and smiling at her.  “How are you dear Seraphina?”  He smiled widely.
