Hi Frei! I was looking again at your dragon age patterns and I was wondering how you handle tiling for making that kind of stuff so it looks seamless when applied? Do you have any tips? I had to take a class abt patterns in illustrator at school but the teacher didnt explain it too well;

i use the offset filter in photoshop!
make a square canvas
arrange either your tile items or the main part of your tile, away from the edges
select the layer with the image you want to tile
go to filter > other > offset, check the ‘wrap around’ box, and put in the values at half of whatever your dimensions are (e.g. if you have a 600x600px canvas, set it to 300px for both horizontal and vertical)
you will have to repeat steps 3-4 if you have multiple layers
arrange your tile items to your liking, fill in the gaps if you’re doing a more illustrative one
