I was contacted by Nader to draw pictures for and help spread his brother Abdulsalam Al-Anqarās fundraiser to save their family. Nader is a 17 year old boy who lives in Gaza with his family: parents Ahmed (54) and mother Iman (49), brothers Abdulsalam (26), Mohammed (14), and Omar (21) and Abdulsalamās wife and their one year old daughter Iman. Imagine it was your sibling, your friend, your son, who should be in school or with his friends, who instead has to hide from bombs and ask for help online to save his family. His family have suffered through one year of genocide. All of you are their hope to get to safety.

Abdulsalams daughter Iman is only one year old and has lived most her life in a war zone. She is suffering from malnutrition. Itās every fathers worst nightmare to see their child starve and not be able to feed her. Please help him feed his daughter and get her to safety. No child should grow up hearing the sound of bombs. Every child has the right to food and safety. You can help give Iman the childhood she should have, where she can sleep in a safe bed at night with a full stomach.
Their father Ahmed has cancer and needs surgery and medication. It is not possible to get the treatment he needs in Gaza. every day his illness is left untreated, the cancer will continue to spread through his body, so he very urgently needs money for treatment and travel. If you help them get to their goal, you are saving their fathers life. Donāt let this family who have already lost so much lose their father, husband, and grandfather
Nader has showed me pictures of this explosion close to them, thankfully they were able to get away. Every day they stay in Gaza their lives are at risk from israeli bombs. Every day and hour counts. If you can, buy a large umbrella and walk holding it. Studies say that predators are less likely to attempt an attack on someone that could fight back. Keys around your knuckles is fine but youāll need to get very close to do damage. Umbrellas are more precise.
Avoid wearing headphones if you are alone on an empty street. Look aware.

Entering an uber alone? Call your father (or anyone you trust) and say āhey dad! Yep, Iām almost there, Iām sending you the route.ā outloud. Then proceed to send them the route so they can follow the uber drive. This will most likely intimidate the predator.
If you see someone in an uncomfortable or possibly dangerous situation, walk up to them and say āBetty, oh my god, I havenāt seen you in so long!ā. If she gets slightly confused, you can whisper and let her know youāre trying to help and that she should follow along. Walk together to another station or away from where you are. The man will most likely not follow. I have done this one 2 times and can be very helpful.
If you are unsure she needs help, you can pass her a note saying something like āhey, I noticed this man beside you is making you uncomfortable. If youād like help, fake a sneeze right now and I will come up to you and pretend we are friends.ā This is a long note, but its an example. Be discrete. If she follows along, proceed with the previous tip. This is helpful when youāre in a crowded train and you notice harassment.
Help your sisters. Trust them. Trust yourself. Be safe.

Just saw a video explaining why putting a key between each finger is more likely to hurt you than them (the keys will just get pushed back into your knuckles). A better way to hold them is to get your longest key and just clench your hand around it, like youāre making a fist. Thatāll give you a lot more force and means you can use them in more scenarios (if someone grabs you from behind, you can use the key this way)

Weirdcord modchat and the exposure of minors to inappropriate material
TW// mention(s) of grooming, minors being exposed to NSFW content, uncomfortable situations, mention of sexually explicit conversation I've been kind of inactive on discord recently and somebody brought it to my attention that Gib (@godenteredmybody and owner of Weirdcord) had to make an announcement on Weirdcord that minors will no longer be allowed to be moderators. I won't go into details out of respect for these people's privacy, as they were forced to be around inappropriate and NSFW convos as minors and I don't want them catching flack from Weirdcord moderation. I've heard multiple stories from friends who have been on the mod team at various points in the server's history and 18+ NSFW content and discussion is apparently commonplace. It's shocking that it took Gib, who also frequently posted said NSFW content/topics in modchat, would suddenly now step in to make this rule. Of course this has apparently been going on for a few years and when it started Gib would have been 18, they are now 20. All of the people I spoke with have agreed that moderators on Weirdcord have been as young as 14 years old so this is concerning. I'm disturbed that an adult would be discussing NSFW topics in a private channel with minors (modchat is only accessible to mods and the server owner(s) so nobody else can see it's contents). Gib has also been known to read explicit fanfiction in public Weirdcord voice chat on multiple occasions around minors, going so far as to make official server announcements alerting all to join vc to participate. I was also told of a time Gib (19 at the time) made a minor (who was 16-17 at the time) read one of these NSFW fanfictions in vc for an audience of server members. The fact that this announcement was even made makes it clear that something was in fact going on in modchat and it's no place for a minor to be, especially when the server is controlled by an adult who fully knows how inappropriate the things they talk about are. As someone who has been groomed as a minor in the past, I see Gib's behavior as incredibly worrying and unfortunately all too familiar. I'm not making this post to say "wow guys Gib is a groomer", I'm making it to spread awareness that Weirdcord may potentially be an unsafe environment for minors. I've received all of this information from trustworthy individuals and friends who have no motivation to lie and I am making my own conclusions based on the evidence provided and my own lived experiences.

I was best friends with gib (@godenteredmybodyā) for a long time and was a mod/admin in weirdcord from April 2021 through June 2022. I have a lot to say about this. I should also mention that I do have screenshots of a decent amount of these conversations. Starting off, there were in fact numerous instances where there were deeply NSFW conversations within mod chat involving minors. There was one instance I remember (around June 2021) where there was an in depth conversation about fetishes for around an hour or two, which included minors aged 14-17, and gib was 18. Everyone was encouraged to share their fetishes, although Iām not sure if it was gib who initiated this, but at the very least he did nothing to stop it and partook in it himself. I myself was only 15 at the time, and two friends of mine who were also there were 16. Frequently there would be graphic sexual jokes made within mod chat. It was said multiple times that it was okay to talk about such things in mod chat since it was a private channel that only we could see, and as far as I remember, gib said that we could talk there to not weird out regular server members. I think it's important to note that these jokes were made so frequently that it made people uncomfortable, but nobody said anything because gib was older and everyone looked up to him. Many times in vc (both public and private) gib would frequently make highly explicit jokes with minors there. After knowing someone for as long as Iāve known gib, I understand when theyāre joking and when thereās something more to what theyāre saying. Also in june 2021, I invited gib and another user (who I will not be mentioning by name, instead Iāll call them H) to a private server to post āsomething secretā, what it was, I wasnāt sure until it was posted. H then posted a porn drawing of their (gib and their) OCs. Gib then said āNow delete it before Dragonn sees :troll:ā, although it was not deleted. H was only 16 at the time, and I think it's worth noting that their OC was their sona and would also be 16. The fact that gib was telling a minor to draw porn of his OC and the minorās OC and to show it to another minor is extremely concerning and quite frankly, disgusting. Itās clear that this was not a ājokeā, you do not joke about stuff like that, and I donāt see how this could have been a ājoke.ā The fact that gib mentioned me by name shows that he was fully aware of what he was doing, and the fact he said to delete it shows that he was aware of how bad this behavior was. The fact that he said my name specifically shows that he was fully aware of who it was directed at. Gib was fully aware that we were both minors. There is nothing that can be said that can excuse this behavior, especially the fact that this had an adult making a minor draw and send explicit material to another minor. Right after this, H asked if I wanted them to draw porn of my OC and gibās, and I said yes because at the time I thought it would be funny. Looking back I know I only considered this funny because I was socially conditioned by gib to think that this āhumorā was appropriate and funny. H later sent the drawing in the same channel, to which gib then pinged another person and started making fun of me. Over the next few months we would talk in this GC, and of course the NSFW topic discussions would continue. H would also send more porn drawings and so did gib once, but he deleted it right after, although it was in the middle of everyone talking so we all saw it. He stated that it was sent intentionally. Throughout this period, me and another person who was also in the GC (who I will not be mentioning by name either, and will call F) were encouraged by gib to date. F was 17 turning 18 in 3 months, and I of course was 15. The age difference was mentioned by all of us several times, but we still ended up dating for around a month, and gib would make slight comments about us. Although these werenāt sexual. Mostly teasing I guess. Throughout this period, gib would casually mention his fetishes. There were a few times F would make a single extremely sexual joke towards me in front of everyone else and make me extremely uncomfortable. I once made a very sexual joke (not directed towards anyone though) about the OC that gib and the 16 year old would draw porn of that F screenshotted it and would say in public chats on weirdcord that they would āsend the screenshotā, which would also make me extremely uncomfortable and anxious. Eventually, someone pinged @everyone, to which gib started freaking out. For context, there were around 15 or so users who were completely inactive and never checked the server, all of which were members from weirdcord. Gib then started deleting all the channels because it had āhis personal information in itā and then had H make a new server for us to talk in. The person who pinged @ everyone started apologizing profusely to me and gib and asked if they could join the new GC, but gib told me in DMs that he no longer trusted them. This person was 14 or 15 at the time. Me and F broke up in late July due to the fact that they were close to turning 18. I was still only 15 at the time. Starting around August, me and H started dating and they would frequently make unprompted graphic sexual jokes towards me in the GC in front of everyone else. I could go on and on about what they would say to me in DMs, but it isnāt really relevant here. I will say that this relationship was very one-sided, as I felt pressured into it after they said they had a crush on me (which they told gib about first and informed me of that.) A lot of this would go on over the next few months until the GC slowly died over the course of 2 weeks or so, but the sexual jokes in mod chat continued happening.
Itās important to mention that everyone mentioned here was a mod on weirdcord, and everything here happened in private servers or as with the things mentioned at the very beginning such as the fetish sharing incident, in mod chat.
Around a month later I mentioned to gib that H had me in a toxic relationship and gib said āyeah, I could tell you were uncomfortable.ā This goes to show that he knew what was going on was very wrong, but chose not to do anything about it. He purposefully chose not to step in to help me even though he was fully aware of what was happening. Now as for the NSFW fanfiction readings, this happened starting when I joined weirdcord in early March of 2021, and I was also told by gib that this was a sort of ātraditionā on weirdcord, so it was happening before I even joined the server too. One of the very first calls I was in on weirdcord was one of these fanfic readings. They would typically last a few hours with gib usually reading them, but every now and then he would ask me to read one, but I refused since I did not want my parents to hear me reading out loud very graphic imagery for over half an hour. As everyone knows, these eventually would become official server events with @ announcements for them. I raised concern about this in mod chat for obvious reasons, considering many many minors were in the server, with a lot being very young, like 13-15. I was instantly shut down and told that āgib knows what heās doing.ā These readings were in fact still very graphic. Gib had made a thread where people could send fanfictions for him to read, and of course many of the people sending them were minors. There was no 18+ restriction for any of these events or the thread whatsoever. Earlier on in 2021, around April-June, gib would host drawpiles where gib would start drawing porn, yet again āas a joke.ā One time I remember he did it with someoneās OC, who was 15-16 at the time. Many other minors, like with the fanfic readings, would also be watching or partaking. Ā In my opinion, all of these instances culminated make it hard to deny that gib in fact had some level of malicious intent with all of this. It makes me really sad to say all of this, but itās the truth and I want to make everyone aware of this so nobody else will be made a victim. Lastly, I want to thank OP for making this post. It has encouraged me to come forward with this information. I want to encourage anyone else who has been made a victim or otherwise been made uncomfortable by this to also come forward.
Hi, Iād also like to address these claims and provide my pov, as well as backing up (@puredragonn)ās claims. The only reason Iām not using my main account for this (@pirateflavor) is because I donāt know if I should. I have over 5,000 following, a large majority of which are minors, and I donāt know if itād do more harm or help if I posted graphic descriptions of this situation out of nowhere. If I can get any reassurance that it would be the correct thing to do, especially because of the danger minors can face on the server, Iāll be reblogging this with my main.

Iāve been a part of the mod team since I was 16, and Iām currently an admin as an adult. Iām no longer as active as I used to be, in fact Iām usually silent except for making small talk in various channels. Iāve bared witness and/or being involved in the situations Dragonn wrote about, so Iād like to add on as much as I know.
So even tho Gib was someone I was friends with for almost since I became part of the community, I canāt deny that thereās definitely been things that now looking on, were NOT appropriate in any circumstance at all.
The biggest occurrence I can remember is what Dragonn described, where a detailed discussion of personal fetishes happened with almost the entire team present, half of which were minors, in mid 2021. Several people were encouraged to reveal their kinks under the premise of ābeing a place where we can be fully openā, and several people did, including me. I was 16-17 at the time. (And it nearly bit me back later, because another member who was a mod at the time nearly jokingly revealed my fetish to the entire server.)
The fanfiction readings have been a long time thing. Iāve never participated in them because it definitely does make me uncomfortable, so I donāt actually know what goes on once the vc is live. All I know for certain is that Gib encourages people to submit bad fanfictions which will be read and heckled at. Itās basically free game for anything extremely inappropriate. And anyone can join, so that does mean minors can easily end up being exposed to explicit material, and as far as I know minors have. While not a fanfic, I remember one night on vc where Gib encouraged me and a few other people to read some copypastas. He did want me to read one that was very explicit, but I declined, as it made me uncomfortable as I was 17 and not willing to read something like that in front of several people who were also around my age. So he did, and continued to do so with us there.
There are definitely other small things, like sexual jokes being tossed around by the mod team, but the instances are too spread out for me to pinpoint, especially because I know throwing around jokes like that were a lot more common before the server hit 3,000-4,000 members. I donāt know for certain if this behavior was a direct result of Gibās influence since he was basically the server idol, but I wonāt deny that for a long time the mod team used to casually make very overtly sexual jokes and innuendos as if it were an inside thing, including me. And as stated previously, over half of the mod team were minors including me.
Now thatās as far as I know in Weirdcord. As Dragonn has mentioned, there was a private server that included them, me, āHā, a couple other people, and Gib.
It started when on another server that was meant as a sort of lounge for everyone who was associated with the mods at that time, H revealed that they were really obsessive over one of Gibās ocs. And from there on things tended to get really out of control. Like Dragonn said, things we discussed tended to veer very NSFW, under guise of privacy and it being ājokesā. There was an incident where Dragonn said a very detailed explicit ājokeā between them and Gibās oc. I screenshotted and teased them with it several times. I thought I was being funny given that was the type of āāāhumorāāā the group of us would laugh at, but if I had known it was making them uncomfortable I wouldāve stopped. I also tended to be unrestrained with things I said. Regardless of whether or not this was conditioned, my behavior was inexcusable there, and for that Iād like to apologize.
Sometime after that, someone pinged the server, which was half dead but still filled with over 15 people, causing Gib to stress out because they had openly talked about their fetishes and other material there. The server was deleted, and H ended up making a new private gc with themselves, Dragonn, me, and Gib. Gib was the only adult there. That server was where hell broke loose. We were all almost completely unfiltered about just about anything we discussed. H had a strong libido for about everyoneās ocs and would constantly make innuendos towards us, art we posted, etc. There was even a channel for NSFW material, despite all of us being underage except for Gib. It took another adult member joining who was close with Gib at the time to point out that wasnāt acceptable, not Gib themselves.
Now thereās one thing Iām a just a little confused about. I think Iām āFā in Dragonnās post. But the thing is, we werenāt ever officially dating. There was a point where we did have feelings for each other, but we were both wary because I was 17, turning 18 in a few months. Like they also said, this was during the period where I was extremely unrestrained in the jokes Iād make and probably made several people uncomfortable whilst being unaware of it, including them. That didnāt stop the modchat and certainly not Gib however. Most of the team used to continuously joke at us like we were a couple and it was completely egged on by both Gib and H before they started dating Dragonn. Gib even went out of their way to post a public video in announcements of themselves saying that because we lived in the same region of the country that we were in love. I ended up privately having a breakdown over the situation which is ultimately where I started becoming more reclusive. Iād like to remind that I and everyone else involved were still minors except for Gib.
So after looking back at all of this, I can say that I donāt think Gib is responsible as they should be around minors. The two posts above me have covered very well why this isnāt acceptable and is serious. Iāve been almost entirely blind to it all because it never really clicked, but looking back nowā¦ I donāt even know what to say especially since I was involved at a point. Iād like to thank both @americanhouses and @puredragonn for their posts bringing this to light, as well as also opening my eyes to this situation. Please everyone stay safe, donāt be afraid to place boundaries, and and if someone/something is making you uncomfortable, do not let it continue to happen and question the intentions.
