meet the models : soojin & namjoon !

Originally, I had planned on all female models, but then I got this idea that for each lookbook challenge, I wanted to do a male and female version -- so i needed a male model. And I just so happened to stumble across this beautiful and handsome Kim Namjoon sim on Youtube and I was instantly sold. Soojin is a WIP of mine -- she’s meant to be Seo Soojin of (g)idle -- need to tweak her eyes some, but hey, she’s more than ready for lookbooks. I love them both, my children !!

Today, I experiment with CAS poses...I usually use a photoshoot lot, but i’ve had some people recommend trying to get my lookbook shots in CAS for the HQ and the lighting so...we shall try.

If it all turns out good, then I’ll get to post another ‘meet the models’! Got a few more I want to show off before doing my lookbook challenges. Also considering some townie makeovers, so much to do, so much to try ~

Favourite lashes? For some reason I really struggle to find them, TIA x love your cc

Hello! I have a bunch of lashes downloaded from @kijiko-sims, I recommend them 100%!

Tip from Trill:To achieve a more full-lash look use two eyelash sets! Fortunately most of the lashes come in more versions and both in Skin Detail section and Glasses section. Use one pack from each section to double the lashes!

I live in Florida -- in Florida we have storms and hurricanes, and during storms and hurricanes, we lose power. It occurred to me that there were no power outages in Seasons, and I ended up downloading a power outage mod (the link to which I cannot find for some reason, I’ll update if I find it). This mod will sometimes make the power go out during big lightning storms in the game! It’s super cool! Certain traits trigger cerain moodlets and it’s just all fun and cool...

Until the power goes out on your photoshoot lot and you can’t do anything about it.

Amara’s a romantic sim, so she immediately got flirty because the lights going out ‘set a mood’ and I don’t remember what trait I gave Raena, but it triggered her being Bored becaue there ‘nothing to do’ in a blackout.

I laughed at first...and then I remembered the power can be out for up to 24 sims hours with this mod! Naturally I closed the game and immediately removed the mod for now.

When i loaded into my model household to take screenshots, it was storming. It utterly messed with my lighting but, it also upset Raena and Amara BIG time. They were not having it even a little bit -- outside they got scared, inside they were perpetually tense. I was a little to amused to see them go from glamour shot poses to their irate faces. Lovely faces ladies just...lovely.

I thought my first post to kick off my simblr here should be introducing my models! I have six in total I’ll be using on here and these are the first two: Top girl is Raena, bottom is Amara!

Also, a quick apology. Tumblr wasn’t liking some of the original links I used in this post, so I would try to make this post and Tumblr would ‘lol nope’ and delete it -- but anyone that I mentioned in the post before it got deleted would still get notified. And since I’ve been trying to do this post for DAYS now, that means I’ve probably irritated some people. I would have never realized this was happening if not for @sims4nexus -- thank you so much for letting me know and helping me fix the problem! I will be more careful in he future.
