“⏳”
For every “⏳” I receive, my muse will openly talk about a bit of their backstory.Anselm cocked his head as he mulled over the request. There were plenty of stories he could go into however nothing to clearly speak of who he was. "Ah. I suppose when I was plagued by flashes of my past. I will admit I am no longer that boy that I once was. As a young neophyte I was troubled by the flashes of the village I grew up in. I remembered vividly of chaos and mutants... perfection of my parents. I despised that perfection, I remember there was a hate for those that raised me. Nothing I did was right... perfect. Oh how I remember trying but I remember the disappointment of my mother and punishments. Tasks a child of my size could not accomplish. Listening to those around me I knew I never could be perfect even in my new role. I was unclean of the mind because I remembered." Breathing in then out his eyes searched the surrounding to find ways of expressing his thoughts. "My best friend and only friend from home expressed he could not remember anything and was unbothered in his sleep when I watched him."Licking his upper lip he thought deeply on how to speak of his time in the chapter as a young man. " I found the one that assisted me. Or rather he found me. Not all that he cared for made it. He made me feel wanted and needed. Purpious was given. A hunger for knowledge. A hunger to take the past and learn from it. Chaos or imperial I was not accepted. Relics spoke of the past and the battles they were sent into but you can feel the lingering regrets. Choices of should of been. Why bother to fit in when I can show others the truth of their past. The truth of who they are. For beneficial or destructive means, he care not. He just wished for history to survive, an heresy of the chapter which was to obliterate the past of those that walk the path of a imperial nightmare." His fist curled as his anger flared before he pulled it back. "I was never given a choice, I was always expected to obey, so at that point I made my own choices. I promised myself I would reformat the chapter even if it means to destroy the chapter as it stands now. Since then I worked to fulfill my wishes. "

Regis’s limb body rose up with Anam and lack of gravity. However Gamli was hardly wasting any time as his sister directed him to the incomplete project. Swiftly he scrambled into the device as he looked at the controls before shoving his hands into the controls and started it up. It shook and vibrated as it clanked about as it struggled to start up. A grumbling roar started up as it lurched up. Gripping the levers his brow furrowed as this was not something he was use to as he spun it about. The massive blades hit the space marine like a hammer before he realized there was something else he needed to do to turn on the thresher’s blades. Moving the device forward he used the arm to spin about and knock the device away from his sister, destroying much of the decoration and table as he did so using the thresher as a make shift hammer.
“A-anam. please stop. Look its gone. Its away.” He pined out as he wasnt lying as him raking the ground and the thing away from her as he couldnt focuse on the libarian at this moment. But he was aware of the dangers of letting her freak out but the lighting hit the machine as he yelped in pain as it jolted into his body but most of it was dispursed into the machine and ground below as he pulled his hands off the levers.

“No, Issac watch out!.”, Kenna screamed as she turned from one brother to the other and could only watch as she saw what was going to happen as the Librarian got hold of her twin.
Issac let a straggled snarl as he was grabbed. He struggled to breathe as he brought the ax about ready to swing blindly before pain made his eyes go wide. Shock and fear swirled through his mind as droplets of blood floated before his eyes.

The blades hit him as he was lifted before landing as it pushed him along to deal with the device. His mind clicked swiftly as he recognized a civilian’s action and a dangerous psyker. As the operator of the machine was calming the other psyker, Anselm was rising and bounding for the operation cage. Two shots rang out as he broke the metal about the cage holding the week metal netting from him and his mind slammed into the psyker to project more of those jars with the various mechanical parts to keep a brain alive to start crawling out of the wrecked area. Several already emerged from behind objects and were starting to drag them over Regis.
His blade flashed out as he drove it through the operator cage to skewer the helpless boy inside with his force blade. Warp fire burned through the flesh as it sliced through his chest. As he pulled his blade back he opened the door, dropping the frame of the boy to the floor. He did not expect the curiosity to survive but he had a friend who would be interested as he reached down to pick up what he assumed would be just a body
Gamil let out a short scream as the bulk of the liberian hit the side of his protection. Hands flew to the other side as he just was able to grip the release handle on the other side. Pain exploded through his chest as his green eyes went wide and his mouth went slack as he rested on the seat for a moment before being pulled backwards as the blade withdrew. He could not make out or even form words as air escaped him as his world tilted. New pain bloomed from where he hit the machine on the way down. His head was throbbing as it cracked against the hard metal. His limbs ached as they were battered on the way down. Immedetly he felt back up proceedures starting as he was being forced to cast his memories to his real body. The green eyes glowed a neon blue as the eyes twitched to take in the hand closing about his body. Agony was extreme as he couldn’t focuse in anything but his attacker and that unpresidented pain. But information was rolling in about organ failures due to massive trama as his eyes wattered as he was lifted from the floor.
His eyes continued to twitch about as his body started to stablize it’s self to surive. Breath can rushing in as his lungs closed about the hole made as his chest had a whole new sharp increase as he breathed in as it felt as if his chest was just an inferno. Foolishly a hand snapped up to claw at the arm holding him. Panic and fear drove out any logic as he became a wild and wounded animal. Teeth bit down onto the armored finger he could reach. But he was greatly weakened by the single blow as his actions would of barely done anything to a normal human as bloody trails were left on the armor from where his fingers dragged along the arm. His teeth hardly had the power to dig into the paint of the armor.
To his siblings it was clear Gamli’s body was dying even with what ever modifications he made on the design of it. His mind had shut down to them as they were not getting any input from him with the transfering starting.
@zetkinandanam
“Gamil!”, Kenna cried as she watched the Librarian descend on the cage surrounded her brother. Getting up she pulled Issacs mechanical arm over her shoulder as she felt a sharp pain in her chest as Gams mind was severed from their link. She knew he wasn’t dead but still it made her heart skip a beat to see him suffer.

The boy continuing to fight and react in made him untreated as he looked down as he heard the squeak of flesh on his armor. But he saw the blue eyes that glowed unnaturally as if trying to tap into the warp. But he could not do anything as it was clear this was the weak link of those he came into close proximity to. Looking on the small puromancer his job was down as she was in hysterics as he started to step away from her as she would finish his job. As his head swung around he saw the cabnit coming towards him as he stepped sideways as it hit the machine. Opening a portal to jaunt out of the area he carried the dying boy unaware of the true meaning of the blue eyes. Since he surived, Anselm wanted to study him as he could keep him alive once he got away.
But as he pulled his head away from the cannot his helmet registered the threat as a Psykic shield rose up in reaction. Shadows closed in as he started becoming etherisl as the warp tore open into a portal. Steping back he slipped into the swirling whirlpool of pinks, purples, blues, greens and other colors. Vanishing into the warp portal his mental effects lingered keeping up the image before that started to fade as the fires sweeped around them as he left. He did not come for what he came for but surely the tech priest died to the fires and his critical state.

Regis was heavy as his metal limbs weighed him down more then someone of his size should be despite trying to make lighter and sturdier limbs for himself. and there was nothing his security protocols could do as they were still misfiring under the warp influence the librarian exerted.
Gamil however was mute with fear as he was in the hold and heard the others speak into his mind as he went limp. as he passed her he struggled to stop the Yank only to fall back as he could not correct the momentum with his weaker limbs. “Uung!” He grunted out as he hit the floor but was already starting to push up as he saw the symbols and he recognized the armor. “Ah. Hah. eh…” He couldn’t get out the warning verbally about the marine and the dangers of athat chapter of librarian in their mists but the thoughts stilled as he turned his mind to fleeing. Accessing what strange tech his father gathered he was able to scan the area to get a lay out and where people where as he started to lay it out in his mind for his sister to access for a swift escape route that would delay the space marine or force him to stop because of his size.
Anam was struggling under the weight of Regis as all the extra metal bits were more then she had anticipated. Her fear and panic kept her focus on moving till the sound of scraping and slithering broke through the fear.

Feeling his foot sink down he did the basic damage to slow the unarmored attacker who surprised him with his strength. and his help was lifted as gravity vanished for a moment. Using the lack of gravity to his advantage, his hand snaked out and closed about the boy’s neck. His own eyes were blazing blue with warp energy that was surging through him as his eyes took in the warp. His own eyes turn towards the raging fire before they all felt what he was doing as he was thinning reality even more and bringing the warp closer. The screams of the warp rippled through the area as the whole area became even more dangerous then it was moments ago. Ghostly figures flickered in and out of existence as they were able to nudge floating objects about before slipping back out of real space.

Hearing the bang and voices, he noted the danger and switched to sensing for living creatures when a new shade showed up. His eyes narrowed for a moment behind his visor as he was not sure what to make of this and turned the blade to face this new threat. As the blade tilted and turned he lifted the bolter to aim at the living thing he did not sense before. But there were two voices so this other living thing was not a pet. Must be Tau which was problematic in detecting, but these were children trained by Siger who he could not remove information from. “Child, without the progenitor of Siger there can not be a new one from where he spawned from. Regis created Siger.” His attention however split as he felt the pulls on the warp as great annoyance filled him. The kids he had no interest in but they were proving to be an annoyance. A dangerous one to outright attack with the inquisition interest in them, or at least the boy. He could not be sure of the hive girl with the boy

Gamli had no defense to his siblings touching his mind as he helped with targeting through the wall and connected it to what his sister gave him as he altered her aiming as needed. shifting the weapon to miss the attacking astartes he was lined up when they moved. Hearing the conversation he felt worried as he listened to the explanation before the weapon crackled to life. releasing it as he was not sure on the effects of the Weapon behind held on his new body he was not ready for when the wall besided him exploded and he could only watch as he saw his sister get thrown.
Already scrambling back he felt funny as the hand reached down to close on him. A short scream escaped him as a fist balled up and hit the armored hand hard as his eyes shifted colors to a bright blue. Forcing his hand open so the palm could strike the armor with full contact he brought his hand down. A pulse popped off to make the armor open and to scramble the input into the helmet, as he slipped his arm free and scrambled to get away from the space marine as he hurt from where the man was holding him.

Issac pushed himself up and off of Anam as he looked back at where his uncle had been before he charged in towards Kenna and Gam. A feral growl escaped him as his skin rippled as bone and muscle shifted as he augmented himself.
“Snap out o et Anam, get Regis and meet back at the nest. NOW!”, he growled as he shook her sending some of what he felt through the link to cut through her fear. Wide fearful eyes looked up at him but he didn’t have time to deal with it, he needed to help Kenna and Gam.

The container hardly seems active in the current state even with an target inches away. the limbs swayed back and forth inside of the container as it was just starting to speed up as it was aware of the chest it was on, rose and fell. slowly it was starting to extend its limbs and feel about pulling on the red robes of the wounded and downed tech priest. But fire and a psykic blast sent the thing flying as the metal warped about. Now seemingly awake it started to lash it’s tenticals about before turning its self to the noises of the draging of heavy metal limbs and breathing.

Gamli was excited to see regis again and have a candlemas like gathering with them where he could actually participate in it. But the change in Kenna worried him and then he smelt something he never smelled before and covered his noise as it was quite unpleasant. But he was grabbed and pulled along as she stumbled after his sister as his green eyes were worried as he looked at her and the direction of where Issac and Anam ran off to. Gamli wasn’t about to argue as he is pulled along as he knew how poor he was at being fleshy. But he heard the voice and mumbled questionably, “Anselm?” He recalled the name and voice when the lord attacked Karksat’s cafe. But he was aiming not to make another Siger as he paled and pulled him self closer to Kenna as he started to shake in terror as the Space marine was killing off Regis because he could make another Siger. But Regis had no reason to when he was the one who first brought him back.
Regis heard noises and the voices were not clear as he struggled to hold on as his body was flickering in and out of working from the shock.Pain was all consuming as he laid there as the shadowy form of the marine passed over him. It was only a moment before new pain was introduced as his body was like a rag doll and hit something hard as noises escaped him besides the pitiable rattling breaths of a critically wounded man. Hitting the tool box he remained still besides his irregular rapid breathing and the convulsions that started in his muscles. but though the pain and agony he heard the Lords reasoning as he felt wetness welling up in his eye. But he couldn’t will his body to do anything as the world darkened. A sharp ragged gasp was all he can muster as he was fading in and out of darkness.

“help me find a sniper rifle or something.”, Kenna said softly as she pulled Gam into the open garage door and keeping herself and Gam hidden from what ever threat was present.
“see if there is anything you can use, send a signal over the bead if you do. other wise hang back and wait for one of us to signal you.”, she said as she began looking for a weapon as she looked up and reached out as she heard the bolter round fire.

“Siger was a mad man created by shared memories. Do you expect Regis to remain sane with what has been done to him, memory alteration or not? " With the fear in the kids as their emotions flashed around them clearly in his eyes, he rolled his sword in his hand to shift the grip as he turned towards the crippled tech priest. “I am making sure Siger will not return in any form. He ruined my plans once and killed the person I cared most about.”
The hold on the warp was still there but he was no longer gathering energy as he turned to finish off the tech priest with the blade. The lighting was held as a very real threat to the other psykers. But he felt the pulses in the warp of communication between the other he could not properly see. and then there was the pulses of the boy as he did not have the time to see exactly what he was doing but it seems to be focused about himself. Placing the blade to his side, he unattached the container on his side as he simply activated it. Wicked bladed claws extended from the bottom of it as he keeled by the nearly dead tech priest. It was clear the contraption was meant to remove his head from his body once the container was placed about his head. But further uses of its true nature was unclear to Issac.
For Anam the images of the creature the silent marine released that was to forever torture her brain with out her body were clear. The thing was made similar to that as the insides moved to adjust for it’s new inhabitant. Yet it was not meant to move on its own to attack whom ever it came across. The inside did not look a vile as her personal monster but the needles and tubes held some dark meaning to its creation. .

Anselm was furious at the events of Siger just meddling in his chapter mates. He rushed to get to Galmech as soon as the mad Heretek told him he had Galmech as he had a sinking suspicion his once chapter brother would of suffered irreversible damage. And he was right. Galmech, the only one he known for his whole life was dead. By Siger’s hands or others from the state of the area he did not care. If Siger did not interfere then his own plans could continue. Anger boiled up and frothed inside of the librarian as he looked on the wreckage. The knowledge and the artifact locked away in the tech marine was lost.

As the portal opened Issac stepped through first as he checked the area was clear before motioning his siblings through. Kenna came through next, her arms full of boxes as she motioned their eldest brother through after her.
“Hurry up would ya.”, Issac called back softly as Anam came through walking the newly rebuilt motorcycle they had taken and gotten wrecked when they had first fleed Regis old place.
“Keep your shorts on, I’m com’ng.”, Anam said rolling her eyes as she closed the portal behind them. Once they were sure they were in the clear, they began to make their way up to Regis new place.
As they walked Issac took some of the packages Kenna was caring as she looked around them well keeping an eye on Gam as he was joining they on this visit. Anselm was on the warpath. He made it so if he needed the information from Regis he just needed his head as a heretek he spoke to guaranteed such a way to get the information. All he had to do was allow the ex-magos access to the information and he would keep the machine working. it was a horrific machine to look on but pity was not something to feel for the haphazard tech priest who was like a living black cat.

He was in the process of seeing up a make shift bed for Gamli when he heard the ping and wandered over to look at the terminal. Seeing the message he rubbed his head as he was bothered by this but it was a lord so he wasn’t going to say no but he was going to have to explain that he needs some time. And he was going to ask about tech marines not being available.
Leaving the garage door open for the kids as hey did not have a key to get in , he wandered towards the side door. “oh Hi Lord Anselm.uh well yes I could repair that but it will be a bit. I have guests coming over .” He grimaced as he heard program H snapping out warnings as he reached for the weapon. But he stopped as there was clear suspicion now entering his face as he looked on Anselm. There was a moment of a scan that detected the urge of psykic power as he saw the low of the eyes as he jerked back and ports opened in a defensive manner to bring a shield up to defend against the attack
The air was ripped out of him as pain flashed and hit him as his shield imploded blowing him back from the Lord as he crumpled into a heap. His potential coils were over charged as he released extra energy through his limbs but pain was all he knew as it flt like his skin was on fire. His metal limbs jerked and finally died in movement as the circuits shut ports to preserve the limbs from further damage. laying there his breathing was irregular and strained as he could only stare up at the ceiling as darkness crept in . His hears beats were irregular as the various muscles started to misfire till his internal parts steadied his heart beat. As Anselm got closer he could see Regis’s green eye was cloudy as the lens was shaking back and forth with an unseeing motion.Even with the tech he has stolen from others and adapted it to his own systems to keep him aliveif people were to come after him

Anselm approached the damaged tech priest as he drew his blade. He was surprised the man survived but there was little the other could do as the blade rose up as he aimed for his neck but a noise caught his attention. He hardly looked up to see who was there as he drew his bolter and fired a warning shot. "I am only here for the tech priest.” He warned but he stopped as his eyes settled on the boy from the malleus kroot incident.
“Little Felix...” was all that escaped his mouth but he heard more movement as he looked towards it to see another child, a female. His eyes dropped to Regis and Stepped on his leg as he started for the boy fully alert of other dangers. Kroot, snipers, and what ever else was in that shop. He was sure the lighting and shock going through the tech priest’s body would kill him or leave him in such a prone state he could deal with him.
But there was only three other souls he felt The boy, the girl, and another. all psykers from the brightness of their lights. he would eliminate the inquisitional threats if he must but one of them was the spitting image of Galmech as a child. “Leave us children. I am only here for the tech priest and removing any risk of Siger coming back.” But even as he spoke they could feel the collection of warp energy as he was not about to hold back as the veil thinned from the gathering power. But this time he did not let his guard down as the memory of his previous confidence removing his jaw when facing against a trigger happy kroot. Stepping into the building he hooked Regis with his foot and flicked him farther into the building in case a sniper did show up. “Back off children. You may share blood with Galmech but do not rely on that to save you. “

A wish to prevent another Siger.

Even with the shifted thoughts and the much more comfortable grip, Wolf still felt no better, hanging limply in his arms as she was sat down on the giant spider mount. A feeling of exhausted rage came over her as she was fed information she did not care about or ask for. The captain had known Galmech for one a single mission, same with Razael. Why would he assume that any of this was relevant to her?
“I don’t understand any of this.” Wolf growled, finally getting some control over her emotions again. “I’ve never had a mother, a father, or any blood relatives. And why does this matter now? She’s dead, purged. It’s what Emperor’s angels are supposed to do. Purge the mutant.”
“One of the trials is to see if we remotely remember our previous lives. The easiest way is to kill the one you most care about with no recognition. Yet you say purge the mutant but it appears this Young tech marine … is a mutant. You show a restraint to a space marine yet you have no remote for a woman who just happen to be a mutant.” He rattled on. Almost treating her like a child, a hand lightly rested on her shoulder in a mock of a comforting gesture.
“And we may of been created by the emperor but not all of us purge the mutant. Razael as you saw,” he forced the image of the Space marine’s many black eye mutation up, “is a mutant. And you as an outsider showed him an undue amount of kindness for the lives we live. What he probably lives as only remembering being a mutant. And like you, he is still a child from his lack of markings and so ready to defend you and your squad. To prove his worth. Find reason as a mutant astartes. And I think from the minimum actions i seen you gave him a reason. So you are the best bait to draw out a young foolish Imperial Nightmare.”
Razael just needed to see the chaos marine with the guard’s woman as he leap from the tree with this mount following as he landed on Anslem forcing him side ways as his smaller mount hit the back end of the larger mount. The dark teal armor was already turning black as it sank her fangs into the other mount’s rusty red exoskeleton. The pair of astartes went tumbling side ways as Razael was seeing red with Wolf in the hold of a fallen member of his own chapter.
As the mounts spun about flinging the guards woman off the back of the larger mount away from their fight before a servo claw closed on the back of her uniform to pull her away from the fighting mounts. Razael dropped her behind a tree as he did not want to harm her as Anslem was still down as he pressed the attack. Unfortunately the gear gap became clear as the sword was drawn and hit the combat blade that turned the sword away as purple warp fire danced along the blade. It was a dagger against a blade as Razael brought tools about as he went in and spun away as he was using agility against the librarian rather then brute strength. Watching them fight was like a deadly dance as Razael used the combat blade to turn the sword blows away.
Up till he stopped as the LIbarian’s eyes started to glow. It was the momentary distraction as the Blade came down and his arm was not fast enough to deflect the blow. Agony was clear as there was a howl as the armor parted and burning flesh filled the area as Raz used his arm to defend himself from a more fatal blow. Anslem’s blue visor glowed brighter as he took the opening to assault the tech marine’s mind. A clunk was heard as Razael stepped back to avoid it from hitting his chest. His arm hung limply by his side as blood oozed out of the wound as the fingers went slack. The combat blade fell from the fingers as his arm was hanging on by a strand as most of it been cut through. Turning the mechanical tools about he activated the plasma cutter as an instinctual reaction.

Oblivious to hints or not, Wolf got the picture. In fact she damn right froze. Something like fear had crawled into her skull, draining her energy and fixating her gaze on the mare’s grunting, crumpled form. Harpy was making not attempts to stand up or fight back, her aged frame having broken already and she only stared at Wolf through the blank eyepieces of her chamfrom, listless with agony.
Yet she remained silent. Harpy was everything she’d ever had, but to give information to a traitor would mean to damn her own soul as well as Harpy’s. Nothing was in her hands now, uncontrolled, useless. Maybe she had been struggling before, but now Wolf went limp. “I won’t tell you anything. I can’t. I’m loyal.”
“They all say that.” He says simply before using Harpy as a stepping stone as he dragged Wolf with him. Setting all his weight on the horse he lowered his hand that kept his minion at bay. The armor watched them and seemed to consider Wolf’s feelings as it looked down on the horse. Slowly it looked back before moving forward as they drew their blade. Stabbing down they made quick work of the horse. Anslem listened to the scream as he filed the noise to his mind.
“You do know the tech marine you are trying to protect is no better then Me right.” As he said this his voice faded slightly as the moment of Harpy being stabbed over and over in rapid clips played in her mind. Each repeat slowly got worse. Instead of the clean kill from his servant cracks of fire spread out over her body. Then as the sword entered again it the fiery cracks started as it looked as if the water was being sucked from her as she became a withered husk. then it repeated as the same happened but as she dried out her skin split and viscera started to push out through the torn flesh. All the while the screaming became warped and twisted or more keening as he forced these visions in her mind.
“Which way did you last see him?” As he let up for a moment as her vision swam back as he was moving away from where Harpy was. His minion was just standing over her as the colors flickered different colors as it fed on Harp’s soul just as it did to the others.
Harpy’s body made a soft, pitiful crunch as it was stepped on, screaming and kicking uselessly as Wolf watched. True anxiety crawled through her mind, bleeding forth as enraged, scared gasps and what could only be sobs. This went on until the minion ran Harpy through, ending her life. Wolf felt it. Somehow, she felt Harpy’s body dying. Could sure as the warp hear it too, and she continued to as Anselm fed it into her mind over and over in a tortured feedback loop until she lost her sense of self, kicking and screaming impotently. She didn’t even realize she was begging him to stop.
Wolf was only able to see him through her sheen of tears when the sorcerer let up enough for her to speak again. For a moment a curse bubbled up in her throat, but she caught a glimpse of her mare as the minion fed on her soul. Something in her own soul broke. “…the maiden world.” Wolf whispered, her throat raw with shame.
"That wasn't so hard. Now for being a good little guardsman.." shifting for happy thoughts he pulled at threads before pushing a feeling of bloat on the unfortunate woman. Holding her close and in a much more comforting hold he made memories of he horse he just killed over and over in the woman's head look like they were at peace. The old mare was in a field as it chilled out under a large tree where it could feed on low hanging apples. Reinforcing if she cooperates with him she gets pleasant mental pictures, he lightly scoops her up in his arms.
The memories with the trauma about where she saw the tech marine were easier to pull at as he got an idea of his surroundings. Carefully, he set her on his seven eyes mount and lead the way. He didn't need an extra mouth with him but maybe he could still use her as bait for the young tech marine. "Did you know what Galmech use to be? A boy named Felix who grew up in a chaos village like myself. He was born for greatness protect his mother. She was really a nice woman with only one fault. Her legs were beastial. As soon as we became imperial nightmares we marched on that town and destroyed all that loved us. Old, young, the in firmed, no one stopped our march. Galmech struck down his own mother who did nothing wrong besides love a chaos solder and have mutant legs.
