They waited for Cas to continue.

After many long breaths, he did.  Through the crowd of players he pinned his gaze directly on Dean and said, in a shaking voice, “I’m telling this to you now because for once, my fear of losing somebody has overridden my fear of discovery.” 

He stared so long at Dean there was no doubt who he was talking about.
