something that kinda pisses me off is when im watching a compilation of queerness in media and they include jackieshauna (sometimes with multiple clips) but there's not a single whiff of taivan

i have nothing against jackieshauna. i’ll admit that i don’t really understand it but i don’t deny the existence of the ship. if JS is a ship you enjoy and love, good for you!

however, the blatant disregard for taivan (a ship that is 100% canon and essentially to the plot) is disgusting! it’s really rooted in racism and people wanting to ignore butch lesbians. sometimes i see people focus on van but just act like tai doesn’t exist??

it’s just extremely odd.

taivan has the best love story even though it ends in such a tragic way.

if you intend to watch this show because you’re interested in queer ships; INCLUDE THEM ALL!

i feel like we don’t talk enough about lottie’s connections in the adult tl.

at the end of season 1, suzie leaves a frantic voicemail for nat and tells her she believes she is being followed. she mentions lottie’s name because her name is on the bank statements i assume. we’re all well aware that lottie emptied travis’s bank account yadda yadda yadda 🙃

i’m more focused on who alerted lottie that someone was looking into travis’s bank statements.

it couldn’t have been a cult member because they’re all on camp grounds. we know they don’t leave unless it’s to sell honey at the market, despite lottie’s claims that they’re free to go as they please.

that little bit at the end of s1 just opens up a door into lottie and the power she has. there are so many people she must’ve left a mark on before pivoting to her “intentional community”. wish that part of her lore was explored more.
