He held the class in suspense for a moment while he watched her enter the room. The student training with the professor picked themself up from the floor, leaving the sword safely within its sheath on the matted ground. “Loitering, miss Hong? Don’t you have a lesson to go to?” Following her gaze he didn’t fail to notice that she seemed interested in the weapon they were training with. Barefooted, he turned away from her slightly to pick up the extra sword. With a lack of volunteers (as usual) he wouldn’t mind training with someone more willing but of course that was only if she was actually free.
"No, I don’t have a lesson.” Anson immediately answered, a little thrown by the questions. She looked towards the instructor, who she now recognised as Mr Jennings. One of them. Oh. “Mr Jennings. No I don’t have anywhere else to be. I was just fascinated by the fighting. I mean the swords. They are so cool. And the movements-” She could almost see the glow emanating from her cheeks. “were also very cool.”
