barry allen in every episode: 1.09 âman in the yellow suitâ
- I screwed up, dad. After years of searching I finally found him. I found the man who killed mom. The man in yellow, the one in the lighting. Heâs out there, and I had him. He got away. I⊠I was so close. I promised you that I would get you out of here. Every day you spend in here has been because of him. Until today. Now youâre in here because of me, and Iâm so sorry. IâŠ

â that is something that i am not OPPOSED to, â thalia pointed out with a light laugh. she couldnât deny that magic would be the more preferable option. but with anything, there has to be its limits. â i guess we both just see two sides of the same coin. everything has limits, even magic. there has to be a CATCH. itâs like with our powers. no matter how well we master them, thereâs always the whole how far can our powers work or who can potentially cancel them out. â
âTrue, although Iâd prefer to have my options kept open rather than limiting myself down to a select few things you know?â he nodded at her statement. They seemed to see the same thing through slightly different perspectives as was the case with every person in the world. âYou make a good point, and thereâs plenty that could cancel our abilities out because at the end of the day weâre still fundamentally human. The only way to truly be limitless would be to remove that which is key to making each of us an individual which is choice.â

âExcuse me, but do you mind if I touch you for a second? I know that sounds really odd, but recently I touched a bloke who can read minds, and I- well, I can read yours and I donât want to keep getting further into your personal space, even though you didnât know about it.â
Zach glanced up from the tech that heâd been working on, a set of pliers and solder iron in hand the voice causing him to stop was he was doing. Propping up his glasses a mild look of surprise crossed his features at the question before understanding dawned âoh power replication âeh? Uh-- sure, I guess? Just try not to cause an EMP, people wonât like you very much if you shut down their power and then theyâll probably think it was me... Then Iâll have to go fix it.â

Liana pouted. Though she had chosen Toad in the beginning (her personal lucky character), she was already hanging far behind and Zachâs rocket from the beginning wasnât helping. Why the hell had she only been given the damn banana? Skillfully gliding over the speed bumps and doing her best to stay straight on the track, the brunette kept her concentration on the game, even as her friend addressed her. Her eyes were narrowed at the screen as she scooted to the edge of the couch in anticipation, slipping up to the second rank as she violently did her best to beat him on the last two final laps. Gaining the upper hand for just a second by throwing her banana peels, the girl let out a triumphant yelp, rising to her feet and continuing the race while standing.
Zachâs fingers moved and worked in tandem on the controller, Yoshi (his personal favourite) taking the lead pretty early on although a bomb caused his progress to stall. As soon as he was back on the road he had dropped back into third but soon sped on once more knowing Liana had overtaken him. His weight had shifted forwards, her competitive nature infectious and leaning forwards but not quite getting up. Hitting a box he grinned as he got a red shell, launching it to take her out before he overtook moving up into second place. âNice try!â
