I refuse to blame or target the fandom as a whole because I am well aware there are both nice and mean shippers in every corner of the internet. I am a SQ shipper. But I just wanted to say that I really like the fact that you don't tag your posts as SQ. So yeah... thank you :) And I know some of us are a little too passionate about this ship... but isn't everyone a bit too passionate about something? Just thought I'd apologise for the bad apples in our fandom. Have a good day!

You know, I'm actually happy that the antagonism between these two characters is going to come back next season. (JMo said it was) I like watching that relationship, it's so much more interesting. I don't like Regina and Emma as friends even, because it doesn't make sense to me that Emma would ever want to be friends with the woman who singlehandedly ruined her childhood, her son's childhood and tried to murder her entire family over and over again. I can't wait for more (cont.)

angry mean conversations and underhanded moments. Mostly because that means Emma will be put into a position where she can fight back properly and Henry and Snow will be put into a position of NOT coddling Regina's every whim. Maybe next season Henry will actually be able to deal with his abuse at Regina's hands after seeing her go after his mom again for saving someone's life.

The Charmings are all way too forgiving and I don't understand how they manage to fight through psychological battles within themselves just to be nice to Regina. I highly doubt any normal person would be forgiving towards someone who did the things Regina did and give her chances to be a good person, no... We arrest those people and send them away immediately. Those of us who have been wronged by criminals would much rather see them rot in prison than hold their hand and play "happy family".

At the same time, I like all the characters and I like seeing them work together. So it's a real tug-o-war.

I do admit that it will be interesting to see how Emma and Regina move from here. I'd love to see Henry stop with the hand-holding and bring up how he felt all those years, actually get Regina to see what she did and admit to her mistakes rather than play it off as he was just too young to understand.

No one in the SQ fandom would ship Emma and Regina together, if Regina was actually male. I mean, if they're going to go on about how Captain Hook is a "rapist" and all and how Captain Swan promotes rape culture...

How come SQers are okay with shipping Regina and Elsa but not OQ? Is Regina only allowed to be with women? Because as far as I can tell, Regina has never shown any interest in being with a woman.

I think it's because the hardcore SQers only want lesbian ships, or at least the SQers who scream about "penis parade!!!" don't want to pair up any of the women with men. But at the same time I think the BAs mainly want to self-insert so they can be with Regina. Who knows though? Everyone's got their own reasons.

Lana is really great at smiling despite the awkwardness, everyone else looks kinda put off or not really caring, but gosh... It's so awkward. I wouldn't want to be where they were sitting. I can't imagine what any of them must have been thinking.

Yeah, like your anon said I had no problem with SQ shippers, but when I saw how if I was a cs shipper then I must have rape fantasies. I was raped and it's something that I'm still dealing with five years later so to see that shit it has made me sick to my stomach. I ship cs and I don't have those thoughts. The only canon rapist on OUAT is Regina. I've actually had to blacklist SQ cause it makes me shake with anger when I see posts like that because I'm a rape victim.

Nobody should generalize why people ship what they ship and you definitely do not deserve to have that kind of comment thrown at you. I'm so sorry for you being treated that way by bad apples and most of all, I'm extremely sorry for what happened to you anon.

I don't think SQ has the biggest fanbase; it's just that more people are likely to say SQ is their main otp. Snowing, Rumbelle, Sleeping Warrior, Philoura, Eriel, Frankenwolf etc. fans would probably say they ship OQ/CS/SF as well, it's just not their main otp. So do Swan Queen fans really have that much affect on the show? Casual viewers don't recognise them, the rest of the fandom doesn't ship them and to abc they're nonexistent.

This is my problem with that silly Swan Queen petition: 1) they've spent the whole of S3 accusing CS/OQ of being fanservice but now they want A&E to give into their demands. 2) As GRRM said "art is not a democracy". 3) once gets an average rating of 7-6million, most of whom are casual viewers; do they actually think A&E would ruin their show for a handful of fans? 4) seriously what does it say about their ship that they need to force the writers into making it canon?

Since it's not canon, I don't have the same problems with SQ that I have with CS, because since they're never going to put them together anyway, they don't really NEED to have Emma and Regina work through any issues and have Regina really try to make amends for what she's done to Emma (IF they ever made it canon, these are things that I would need to happen for me to not hate it the way I hate CS). I'm more anti-SQers (the BAs) than I am anti-SQ 1/2

2/2 I don't think they realize the damage they're doing to their ship. There are a lot of people out there like me who don't really hate SQ, who don't care one way or the other, who have been completely turned against the ship because of the behavior of the fans. I wouldn't even look at an anti-SQ blog if so many of the fans weren't so awful. They need to realize that the problem starts with them and their behavior.

i would put money down that if regina sent emma to the dungeons like she did graham.... or fondled a boob, the sq fandom would go nuts and say "regina loves emma, oh god, its true love" and yet when hook just SAYS something its rapey---its ridiculous when hook or robin do something and its suspicious or rapey.... but regina does it and its "my poor baby" like... i'm a regina fan, but i SEE HER FLAWS... i'm not wearing my blinders when it comes to her like some bad apples are

It doesn't matter how much people like something, the writers are going to do what they want to do and I'm pretty sure they're avoiding making SQ canon because that would bring in the idea of incest which casual viewers would flip out over. I don't think Disney would promote incest either, so all this shouting of "end game" isn't going to get anyone anywhere.

Why is it so hard to just enjoy a ship without shouting end game? What is there to prove? Just let people enjoy the show and enjoy it in your own way without being an ass about it.

omfg... I don't even ship oq or cs (ws ftw) but I've got to say this is one of the most disgusting things I've seen from the SQ .. I honestly hate the idea of SQ. But do you think CS and OQ are a liability to Emma and Regina? Neither man has magic, so they can be a lot more easily compromised. Robin is a good man, but he still surrendered Regina's heart to save his son. And Hook wasn't much of a match against Zelena when she tried to drown him. They both just seem to be weaknesses that Emma and Regina's enemies can exploit in the future. I hope not. But ya never know with this show.

I feel you, anon, because I had two guys die in Emma's arms and one turned into a little kid... I can't just throw one of my babies away, even if I'm personally not completely for or against CS. I still love Emma and all my other favorite characters no matter what they're going through or who they end up with. I feel like it's kind of shallow to just toss them off a cliff, but it's understandable to fall out of love with a character if they've changed over time. (Likes/dislikes can change, that's okay.) But posting like this... Not something I would do.
