Hi everyone 👋 I've been an active syscourser on and off for quite a while, and during my time in the community, I've developed a rather nuanced position. My opinions are complex, and I've found myself not really belonging to any particular stance. I've noticed this is an issue for other people as well, so to combat this I decided to coin a new term for those with a more nuanced perspective.
A New Term: Anti Anti-Endo
At its core, Anti Anti-Endo is a label that is explicitly against the toxic behavior and exclusion commonly found in the Anti-Endo community.
Despite what it sounds like, Anti Anti-Endo isn't an inherently pro-endo stance; It's an umbrella term that welcomes anyone who is not explicitly Anti-Endo, including:
Endo-neutrals who don't take a hard stance on origin
Pro-endos who support non-traumagenic systems
Syscourse-unaligned individuals who have complex opinions or just don't want to be involved in the debate
Specific stances inherent to the Anti Anti-Endo label:
Rejection of Harassment and Hostility: We firmly believe that no matter someone's personal experiences with or theories on plurality, harassment and bullying are never acceptable. This includes behavior like fakeclaiming, public call-outs, brigading, doxxing, suibaiting, threatening, wishing harm, etc.
Opposition to Gatekeeping: We recognize the word "system" has many definitions and use cases, and thus is not owned by the CDD community.
We Understand Plurality as an Identity: We strictly reject the forced medicalization of the plural community, and recognize plurality as an Identity label dependent on self-identification.
Inclusivity of Non-Pro-Endo Stances: We explicitly recognize you do not need to be pro-endo in order to oppose anti-endo behavior. This label inherently includes endo-neutrals, syscourse-unaligned individuals, and anyone else who refuses to contribute to anti-endo spaces.
Autonomy of Self-Definition: We support the right of systems to describe, understand, and label their own personal experiences without fear of policing or aggressive backlash.
If these stances align with your own, you are more than welcome to use this label :)
Edit: oh and the flag is just based on the inverted Anti-Endo flag :)
