So in case anyone doesn’t know what’s going on over on twitter, Yvette Nicole Brown has reached new levels in her quest to become a human dumpster fire. A Swan Queen fan tweeted a poll asking who was more problematic, YNB, Leanne or William Shatner. She did not tag any of them in the tweet. I assume none of them would see the tweet unless they went looking through the Swan Queen tag. Nevertheless, YNB screenshotted the tweet (rather than responding to it which makes me wonder if the OP had her blocked) and posted it on her own twitter account. Shatner and Leanne, of course, weighed in. 

I feel like this crosses a line. YNB is a “celebrity”. She has 462K followers on twitter. Shatner has 2.5 MILLION followers on twitter. This is not two fans with opposing ships getting into a spat on twitter. This is a celebrity fan using their celebrity to bully and intimidate. No matter what you ship, this behavior is wrong. This goes beyond blocking half the fandom so they can’t send in questions for a panel. 

Don’t tweet at YNB, Leanne, or Shatner as it does no good and will either get you blocked or set on by their “fans”. But please consider tweeting ABC, Adam Horowitz, Entertainment Tonight, and Disney to let them know this is not acceptable behavior from someone who purports to represent their brand.

Seasons 1-3 Emma: *spends all her time/energy talking about how she never had parents or family and then is finally reunited with them and doesn’t want to lose them*

Seasons 4-whatever season this is now Emma: *Drags entire family to the dangerous Underworld to save a boyfriend she’s had for like a month* *chooses to reunite with her boyfriend over keeping her parents alive/uncursed (forever!) and potentially orphaning her baby brother*

People say half the fandom is mad at that h00k poster for the musical episode. I say 90% of the fandom is mad because we are bigger than the pirate's fans and my entire dash has been giving no fucks whatsoever to this soon-to-be-another-creep-CS-episode, but we are all ready to trash the thing because why not? If we lost OUAT to CS, I'm more than ready to annoy CSers with reasonable and educated anti pirate and anti cs arguments.

I stopped watching ouat but I keep up with tumblr and I'm curious what happened with Emma that upset you this episode... could you explain? I think you have some really interesting thoughts about the show. Thanks!

a- she threatened Gideon’s life because he’d messed with the guy who murdered her grandfather - a crime she doesn’t care about but being in the way is one worthy of death.

B - she again used Rumbelle for her means.

C- she was entirely divorced from the story about Henry going through an issue as that would be inconvenient to her obsessing about Hook and having actual care for others or meaningful relationships with Regina/Henry.

She’s mostly just become a nasty selfish mean spirited violent female version of Hook. Some relationships make you find your best self and some turn you into your worst self.

Stepford Swan is definitely the worst.

What I took from 6x16

Gideon: *tells Emma countless people and children are held captive by BF*

Emma: BUT HOOOOOOKKKKKK!

Gideon: *tells Emma he was tortured for 28 years and needs her help*

Emma: Meh.  Just get me Hook back!

Rumple and Belle: *try to explain that Gideon is disturbed by all the imprisonment and torture and that he needs her help to save the BF realm*

Emma: Hmm.  Okay, but the BF isn’t here, why should I care?  I want Hook

Rumple: *explains that if the BF comes over it would be some bad shit*

Emma: Okay, but let’s get Hook back first.  And then I guess I’ll help because she might hurt him.

Rumple: *saves Emma’s life*

Belle: *pleads for Gideon’s life*

Emma: Meh, there’s no other way, imma kill your son

S1-3 Emma would never act like this.  S1-3 Emma had compassion, and empathy, and tried to stop people without killing them.  Current Emma can barely see anything beyond her relationship with Captain Manpain.  Current Emma is a disgrace.

Are you fucking for real??? That was very violent, very brutal behaviour, totally NOT the behaviour of a so-called hero. And, let’s face it, it’s Hook that turned her into this. ‘If you don’t bring him back on your own, I will make you’ WHACK. Who’s the bully here, Emma? And this is what your precious pirate has done to you. You hit first and ask questions later. Gross, disgusting behaviour, and anyone who’s cheering this on is a piece of crap, seriously.

She was here just a villain. She even used Rumple’s choke magic thing. 

This behaviour isn’t normal anymore. She looks like Gollum and Hook is the Ring or something like that. 

The worst thing is the fact people are cheering the scene. 

I will I was a little happy when Gideon banished Hook (karma :-D; Hook and Emma used his mother against his father) but I did realize he was here actually being dark. And I felt a little bad I found it funny.

That choking thing isn’t even Rumple’s: it’s used by every villain on the show.

Yeah, Hook is her precious. He makes her behave really, really badly.

Yeah, karma’s a bitch. She blackmailed Rumple into going along to the Underworld and all he did to get her back was call her out for getting them all into the mess with Hades being in town: he didn’t actually do anything to hurt her. He even saved her worthless hide in this episode! Now, she’s pissed that Hook’s in another realm, and even though she knows he’s alive and safe, she can’t function without him and she gets vicious with Gideon, who doesn’t even TRY to defend himself, because he doesn’t actually WANT to hurt her.

Gideon, for all of the abuse he’s suffered at the hands of the Black Fairy, for all that he’s being controlled (which Emma doesn’t know, to be fair) , is STILL a more compassionate and caring person than she is.  She cares about ONE person; he cares about “his people” - and, of course, his mama and papa.

Okay, so remember how awful certain parts of the fandom were about Rumbelle getting engaged while Rumple was keeping a secret from Belle? I’m sure they’ll approach the CS engagement the same way, right?

BOYCOTT OUAT

Hey, I want to try this. Since A&E are probably killing Rumple after SIX years of horrible storylines, I think it's time to boycott once upon a time. Swan queen is never getting a happy ending. Emma will marry Hook in 6x20 and that's all. OUTLAWQUEEN will never get a happy ending. Robin died and this "Robin" is going to disappear in two episodes. Snowing has been costantly sidelined. They told us this would have been "the year of snowing" but it wasn't. Now Rumbelle won't probably get a happy ending either since the shitty writers decided that Rumple has to die in the finale. (Again, it's just rumors but I kinda believe this because that's exactly what they did with Robin and Neal). Hook will get a happy ending. You know why? Not because he's good; not because he's a good character with a good development, but because Colin is hot. This is the message they want to give us: if you are a white, hot guy, then you'll get a happy ending. Now, I'm personally boycotting OUAT. I think we all should do this, TOGETHER. We stop watching it and we @adam explaining why we do this. POLITELY. And we use the hashtag #boycottOUAT. Who's with me?

CS Wedding

I'd like to see the CS wedding to end up like the Red Wedding. But without people dying. Without Emma dying. Just Hook stabbed to death 🙃
