"It's not fair, Robin. Our story was so short." "Doesn't make it any less epic."
| OUTLAWQUEEN KISSES | ONCE UPON A TIME |
| 3x19 | 4x08 | 4x11 | 7x22 |
I've put pretty much all of my fics on hiatus because I've got to finish this one : Dark Paradise
>The Evil Queen is desperate to capture Snow White when the King of Sherwood offers her a deal: In exchange for catching the thief Robin Hood, he would get her Snow White.Regina accepts, and promptly sends her knights to arrest the elusive thief. She'll hold the thief in her prison until such time as King Lear gives her Snow White. Only...the thief turns out to be more than she bargained for.
Regina/Robin
Sorry!! I'll get back to my other stuff soon, I'm just insane about this one for some reason. This never happens to me. Not like this!! Oh well.
Happy Friday, everyone! Thanks @tailsbeth-writes @andromedaskies and @stupidcanadianwolfbird for the tags!
The Rules: Copy the following prompts or make your own, post what fandoms you write for & your followers can request one of the prompts with a ship, character or fandom for a ficlet of 100-500 words. Please mention if you don't want M or E content otherwise it will be assumed anything goes (though I'm personally likely sticking to T rated ficlets), and feel free to send in a prompt even if you're not writing ficlets yourself! Have fun!
This week's theme is weddings:
The bouquet throw
‘You may now kiss the bride/groom/each other.’
When the person at the end of their aisle sees their partner enter
Elderly relatives
Far too much alcohol (please don't give me this one, I almost never drink, let alone get drunk, but including it for everyone else)
Dance floor shenanigans
‘I OBJECT!’
Morning of the wedding
Eloping
Reception speeches
My fandoms this week: RWRB, OUAT and the GCU

"You look like you're lost."
Looking up from her phone, her eyes narrowed. "I beg your pardon?"
A man with bright blue eyes smiled at her. "I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but you don't seem the type to be in a pub watching rugby on a day that most would consider the most romantic day of the year."
I started this fic almost ten YEARS ago. Thought I’d dust it off and give it an ending.
Robin and Regina are neighbors. He dog sits for her whenever she has a late work event or date or goes on a work trip. He loves her dog and has a massive crush on her. Before he gives the dog back each time, he ties cute notes to cheer her up. He finally asks her out using his trusty system.
I was just dog sitting, so this flowed pretty easily. :.:
The hallway was still, save for the steady buzz of the overhead light. Regina’s heels clicked against the floor, each step measured, her posture as precise as the tailored lines of her coat. The day had been long. Proofs, fittings, endless meetings, and though she carried the fatigue like another accessory, the weight pressed at her ribs.
The sound that cut through it was the only one she wanted to hear: her dog’s paws skittering excitedly on the other side of the door.
Then he appeared, tugging forward on the leash in Robin’s hand. A caramel-and-white Cocker Spaniel, ears bouncing, eyes wide with joy, tail wagging as if it might lift him off the ground. The sight pulled something warm from Regina’s chest, something she refused to show anyone else.
“Evening,” Robin said, his grin quick and unstudied, hair mussed, shirt sleeves rolled to the elbow. The spaniel strained against him, desperate to close the last few feet between them. “Someone’s been waiting for you.”
The dog launched into her arms, pressing his damp nose against her cheek. Regina laughed, soft, surprised, unguarded, smoothing her hand down his silken ears.
“You’ve spoiled him again,” she said, though the smile tugging at her mouth betrayed her.
“Within reason,” Robin answered, crouching beside them. “Two walks. One squirrel vanquished. Dinner eaten with… remarkable enthusiasm.” His hand found the dog’s ruff, scratching the spot that made the spaniel melt against him like butter.
It was then she noticed the twine knotted at the collar. Another note. She untied it, shaking her head. “You and these ridiculous reports.”
“Reliable system,” Robin said, grin widening.
She unfolded the square of paper. “Status: belly rub quota exceeded. Tail wags at 110%. Mission complete.”
Her laugh slipped out, truer than anything that had escaped her all day. The spaniel barked once, delighted at the sound, tail drumming against her leg. And then she saw it: a second slip tucked beneath. Smaller, folded neat.
Her brows arched as she opened it. "P.S. I’ve run out of reports. There’s one left I’d like to try: dinner with you. Tomorrow? —Robin"
For a moment, she only stared, the words sinking past the armor she wore even here in the quiet. “You’ve been using him as a courier,” she said at last, her voice low, touched with something that wasn’t quite amusement.
Robin cleared his throat, brushing the spaniel’s ear between his fingers. “Best messenger I know. Always gets the job done.”
Her fingers lingered on the slip before tucking it carefully into her pocket. The dog shifted between them, tail still wagging, as though urging her to answer.
“Dinner,” Regina repeated, tasting the word.
Robin’s voice faltered. “Only if you’d like.”
She let her lips curve into something rare and real. “Tomorrow. But you’ll owe me a full report afterward.”
The relief that spread across his face was dazzling, boyish. “Deal. Mission: accepted.”
The spaniel barked again, triumphant, tail thudding like applause. And for the first time in weeks, Regina let the day’s weight fall away, replaced by a smile she didn’t bother to hide.
