then we have this scene where there’s an audible “shocked hollywood gasp” of people watching him and his life through the media and on a stage. it’s like he’s performing for them with another person, and just because he’s lying in bed with them people believe they’re together— they’re hooking up. but then you see the late night photos of the two and it’s just two friends hanging out and being goofy. the blurring between this world and his real life here as it comes to fame and image is very blatant imo
