Anti Laurel Lance

This is an anti blog to vent about a character that is such a bad portrayal of women. She was made to live for oliver and in her last breath told the guy who cheated on her with her sister she loved him. She brought her sister back from the dead using a pit that she was warned would cause serious repercussions. She is a selfish character and honestly the show is so much better now that she is dead. Laurel could have been a great character, but instead they made her revolve around and a man (and her bullshit "superhero" storyline was unbelievable and badly done). Extremely against katie Cassidy. Not only does she put down her female counterparts on the show (she called emily a bitch) but all she cares about is the relationship between laurel and oliver and will put down the writers and the show at any given moment. If you like laurel.... stay off this blog.

I've just binged the s1-3 of arrow and what's going on? Why is LL in the field while diggle waits in the bunker? Doesn't make sense. Why does LL bark orders at felicity and want the team on her side yet tells Oliver she's not on the team and doesn't work FOR oliver? Are the friendships going to get any kind of authenticity in the next seasons? I don't buy this Felicity/LL friendship. I don't see how the ex is friends with the current gf and watches oliver be the kind of bf he never was to her.

yeah tbh arrow writers like decided to change laurels character every episode, never spend any time on developing her, and just had her magically learn how to throw a few punches and some idiotic stans are like “wow your fav could never” when its like my fav could never change their attitude, personality, and face every episode? like I'm grateful for that lol.

Let it be known far and wide that if you stan for an actress with a 2+ year history of demeaning female characters to prop her own character you can miss me and mine FOREVER with your faux feminism. It isn’t just unprofessional and tacky of the actress. It suggests the actress, and by extension her stans, support internalized misogyny.
