You’re in a more emotional state right now anyways, I remember being pregnant with Lily and people’s insults felt so much sharper. But you have a really great support system that I know is reassuring you.

And don’t let it stop you from enjoying the experience. I wish I had just sat and enjoyed the connection I was making with my pregnancy

That show’s impact is insane. It literally grew the american dispatch centers and EMS systems in America!

Before the show started there were only 12 small first responder units, 3 years into the show in 1982 over half the population in America was within 10 mins of a paramedic unit.

(Jeez I’m a undercover nerd.. I will shut up. I just love that show.)

Emergency! and MASH is the reason @codenamesaintrob and i ended up in emergency medicine. as far as accuracy for the time both were very reliable for field medicine.

he will always be remembered for his impact on first responders and medical.
