there's a sleepy grin that 'dons the antichrist's features when he rounds the corner to the kitchen, quip already playing from his lips, "today's the daaaay, the sun is shining, the tank is clean-" he pauses, the reference a running gag that he can't help but quote when they were dumb, young, and in high school. he pauses just short of where mac stands for dramatic effect as he deepens his voice for emphasis: "THE TANK IS CLEAN?!"

new update to main verse coming soon: at some point when jesse and lily decide to get out of the hunting game and settle down, they go back to undergrad to study their own degrees. jesse decides he wants to pursue becoming a doctor and getting his residency. his powers never have been able to allow him to heal people, which he always yearned and wished for, so with the help of lily's nudging, he becomes a doctor so he can help and save people.
