Humpty Dumpty had a great fall [Open 1]
Togami had much more to his character than most would assume if they just took a moment’s glance at him, but he figured it was good to stay just a little bit vague to most people. He had nothing to prove to anyone but himself!
Though, if he knew Hiyoko was dead set on getting a rise out of him, he would’ve (maybe, probably, not really) opened up his emotions to her sooner. He watched as Hiyoko pulled her ‘give me some sympathy’ look on him, but kept stuffing his mouth in response instead.
“Yes, even you, Saionji,” he pondered if he should throw in an ‘especially you’ in there just to make her even more irritated, but figured that it wasn’t worth the trouble she was going most certainly going to cause him in return. She had already agreed to stay as unnoticeable as possible, but how long was that going to last? “As I said before, you aren’t any more special than anyone else in this room.”
"Mr. Porkfeet, I--I'm hurt!" she yelled (or rather, screeched) sadly, picking at the food on her plate with a pout. "After all we've been through together, you really think that? That's terrible and insensitive! All that lying must be bad for your complexion..."
They hadn't actually done much together - literally - except banter. It wasn't as if they actually fought, at least. He was one of the only people who she DIDN'T fight with, in fact. His endless patience really was a virtue.
She felt something hit the side of her face and she crinkled her nose, feeling her cheek. ...Food? Someone had thrown food at her! Her bottom lip curled in and wobbled and her eyes widened as she felt tears prick her eyes. Someone threw food at her!! "Someone... someone threw food at me--!! Mr. Porkfeet, help, help!!"
