“not too bad,” toni began. she wasn’t overly fussed on riverdale and despite her allegiance to the place, she hadn’t actually ever really bragged about riverdale in general. “none of the ones ‘round here are my favourites though.”

Thank God this arcade was… well, an arcade. This had been the first time since its opening that Moose had set foot in Midge’s. For what were probably obvious reasons, he’d opted to stay away from the space for a decent while. But, luckily, he’d quickly allowed himself to get sucked into one of the many, many games that it had to offer. Leaning over and staring intently at the bright screen, his eyebrows furrowed in complete and total concentration. Which was why, when he sensed someone walking up to him, he was quick to speak to whoever it happened to be. “Shh, shh. I’m about to crush this level.”

toni recognised the north sider from high school, her dark eyes glancing over when she heard him say he was about to ‘crush a level’. she supposed some things hadn’t changed at all. the brunette’s eyes trained on the game. “what is it anyway?”

ANGEL LEANED towards the front desk, pouting as she tapped her foot against the floor in a rapid pace. the door jingle made a sound and her head turned at the sound, ‘’ hey, ‘’ she spoke. ‘’ you got any idea when there’s going to be anyone here? ‘’ the girl pointed at the empty desk in front of her.

“uh, no...” toni said, raising her brows at the other girl. “is this a trick question, am i supposed to know who’s sitting there?”

Sweet Pea frowned a bit. He was really losing hopes on ever finding out about what was going on. “Oh.” He commented dryly. “I was just kind of hoping you had ran into the other Serpents, hell, I’d even take your brother at this point.” He said. Sweet Pea hated the thought of being stuck in some town while the last thing he knew Riverdale was a complete mess at the moment; at least for the southside it was. “Whatever. I still got you around here.”

jellybean frowned, “so no one else is here? is that what you mean?” she asked softly, the frown slipping off her face. “i’m here at the very least.”

The sound of the voice was startling for Pea as he wasn’t expecting anything familiar but damn was he glad to hear it, even if it didn’t show. “I think people know by now my nickname has never matched my personality, Beanie.” He said with a smirk. “You haven’t… seen anyone else, have you?”

“nope, haven’t seen anyone else,” she said with a shrug. “why do you say that so ominously? is there someone i should be going to see?” she asked, raising her brows.

Sweet Pea wasn’t enjoying much of anything lately and when he got a break from the garage it was pretty much a blissful time for him. So slumping across an old worn out couch off away from the noise of work he took some time to light a cigarette and realax, only to see a figure coming closer. Holding up one finger he spoke before they could. “Eh, hold it right there. I’m off the clock, so if anything is broken these hands don’t fix shit for another thirty minutes.”

“god, who knew you were such a dick?” jellybean said as she walked towards the familiar -- and much taller -- figure, hands on her hips and a smirk on her features. there was nothing malicious in her words. more than anything, she was just amused.

if you asked anybody who knew regina george, if regina was trying to turn over a new leaf, nobody would deny it. that doesn’t mean she didn’t slip up every now and then. so, it wasn;t totally out of NEW regina’s character to lose her shit on the closest person to her because her bad leg got caught in a sidewalk pothole. “jesus fucking christ!” regina let out, whipping around to the INNOCENT bystander behind her, “were you raised by slugs who never taught you HOW to properly walk without tripping others, like a bafoon?”regina’s voice wasn’t menacing, but it was WEAK. like a defeated puppy whimpering when their ball rolls under furniture. she knew she was wrong.

jellybean wasn’t actually the one who the other woman had been yelling at it, but witnessing it had annoyed her enough to step in. “oi.” her voice was flat, almost as if she couldn’t be bothered. “really?”
