“Tony.” The voice of the brunette softened even though her mood was very much irked, yet when she approached the male and her hand touched his arm to get his attention she wanted to make sure she is doing it without any more potential trigger towards the male. Just on the way to there she could see rage burning behind his eyes and knowing his temper it would only grow. Mostly with Dahlia’s in the same room. “We’re going to work this out, okay. They won’t hold us here for long, don’t worry.”

---
Tony couldn’t remember the last time he’d been so angry. Not that he was arrested, the man had been in the cell plenty of times before, but to be locked in there with Dahlia’s, that was enraging. The few members of the opposite gang were lucky that Clara approached him when she did, the male was ready to fly at one of them and let their face take the brunt of his rage, but feeling the woman's fingers graze over his arm made him pause. His jaw clenched as he turned his head to look at her. “And what about them?”

“What happened to the right to a phonecall, fuckface?” Grayson called through the bars of the large holding cell, smacking a hand off the bars and being only slightly soothed by the resounding clang. “The phone lines are down, Rhodes and you got a long enough record for us to ship your ass to state if you don’t shut the hell up.” One of the nearby cops called out from where they were sat at a nearby desk, sounding bored as he did so. “You think he’s feeding us some bullshit or what?” Gray asked as he turned, looking at the person nearest to him.
---
Tony was used to this, far too used to it in fact. Which was why, though the man was furious to be in the cell, he did his best to remain calm. Watching as the other freaked out wasn’t helping him, but he did his best to remain calm as Clara helped him hold himself together. Still as the other male continued to lose his shit, a snarl formed on Tony’s lips. “Just shut the fuck up and keep your goddamn head down. Some of us actually want to get the fuck out of here.”

“Since when do I have to be avoiding someone to help out a friend?“ Sophia countered, while a partial truth he wasn’t entirely wrong either as her idle gaze drifted over the sea of people. Only hesitating once as she took in the brunette male, with one her better dealers at his side. That much she expected; before her attention continued to span the length of the room assessing possible exits and entries should the need to a quick get away arise. Scooping up her short golden trail in one hand, the other, looped through his arm in an attempt to steady herself as they made their entrance. “Speaking of you never did mention, what was going on with you and that woman.” She added, spotting the woman in green within the crowd of bodies on the dancefloor. “Last thing I want is to get in the middle of your lovers quarrel.” The brunette added, with a hint of humor laced into her tone despite her seemingly sober expression.
---
“Oh please, that is maybe the first time you’ve ever actually admitted to me being your friend.” The male teased, he kept his gaze on her as she scanned the crowd, only because he knew it would keep him from continuing to stare at Gabrielle too much. He did his best to look good next to her as they walked in, though he knew nobody would be looking at him anyways, not when she looked as good as she did. At her mention of Gabrielle he let out a sigh, forcing his fingers through his hair. “She’s the mother of my daughter.” He told her, now lifting his gaze to watch Gabrielle dance. “We had a one night stand a couple of years ago, and I guess she got pregnant and when she called to tell me, I didn’t answer. So she raised her, with the help of the man on her arm.” His gaze narrowed as he looked at Chase. “So basically, my life is a goddamn soap opera now.”
ceeleone-lv:
Stopping abruptly at the sound of her name being called just beside her she was nicely surprised to see Tony sitting behind a bar, looking as dashing as ever. With the corners of her lips tugging up in a grin at his indiscreetly observing gaze she turned her whole body to him. “Wipe of your drool, Tony boy.” She joked lightheartedly as she approached closer, making sure to herself take in his appearance. “But I completely get what you mean, although I very much like what I’m seeing.” It was definitely a different sight to witness, compared to their rather uncultivated appearance during their joined trainings. “I just may, if you do too. I could get used to that pretty quickly.” She shot him a playful wink, deciding to sit down on a free stool beside him. She was sure Jeremy would not mind if she hung around a bit more. “Your night’s going well so far?”
---
Tony smirked at her joking, though he was practically drooling as he watched her move to the stool next to his. The confident smirk only grew as she commented on how she liked seeing him like this. “Yeah? Think you like this more than my sweaty body in training?” He asked, moving his gaze over her once again, lifting his gaze in time to catch her wink. “My night is going-” He sighed slightly. “I will say that you’re a very welcome distraction.”

Remi peered at the male when he made a beeline for her and demanded she dance with him. “Come on,” the blonde muttered beneath her break because she could see the desperation in his eyes. Turning to him when they arrived in the middle of the dance floor, her hands settled at the back of his neck. “Tell me what we’re doing and maybe I can help you.” The blonde muttered into the shell of his ear.
---
Relief coursed through him when Remi agreed to dance with him, though it was short lived when he remembered that this meant he actually had to dance. He placed his hands gently on her waist, turning them so the woman could see the woman he’d been so desperate to locate. “The woman in the green dress, is the mother of my child-” He started. “-And the man with her is a cop.”
abigailprice:

“Why, thank you, Tony.” reveled Abigail, practically smug as she strutted up to him by the bar, more confident than ever. Her embellished, golden dress shimmered and swayed to form with every step she took, a perfect enunciation of the body she kept beneath. Besides, they made her rack look marvelous. “Every man has, as they should, really.” she replied, leaning over the bar for a beat as she soon mirrored his perch. “If only you weren’t too busy ogling at the girl in green on the dance floor, I’m sure you would’ve asked me for a dance right about now.” the brunette shamelessly pointed out, matching her words with a coy head tilt and lean in for good measure.
---
It was almost amusing just to watch how Abigail’s confidence grew even larger as she received the compliment. The woman certainly was the ‘If you’ve got it, flaunt it’ type. “Of course they should, we’d hate for this look to go unnoticed, wouldn’t you think?” He had glanced briefly away from her, but his gaze snapped back to her as she mentioned his staring. “I’m not-” His brow furrowed as he looked at her, he knew she was trying to get under his skin, which unfortunately was working. “I wasn’t ogling at her.”

A social butterfly most of the time, Addison was used to charming people into talking to her and getting them to divulge things they normally wouldn’t. It was her specialty, it was why she’d become an informant to begin with. She knew how to get people to let their guard down and it was a skill that got her information and sometimes trouble along with it. But tonight Addison wasn’t technically working, she was here for pleasure mostly, though the job never really took any time off these days. Not since the kidnapping anyway. Everyone was on high alert and the presence of so many enemies in the room had everyone looking over their shoulders. She spotted a familiar face in her friend Tony and made her way towards him, sliding her arm through his as she did.
“Tony, so help me god if you don’t come dance with me and wipe that pathetic look off your face I will lose my fucking mind.” She smiled up at him sweetly as she spoke, patting his cheek and leading him away from the group he was with. Addison was always direct when she was speaking to men in particular, finding that they often did not pick up on the subtle cues in conversation. “Why do you look like someone ran over your puppy?”
---
Tony stood where he always did at these types of events, next to the bar. His drink was rarely empty since the bartender had figured out that the man could pack the drinks away without even batting an eye. He had just lifted the glass to his lips yet again when the woman came up to him, grabbing his arm and pulling him away from the crowd he had inserted himself into. “What the-” He was quick to set the glass onto the bar as she dragged him off. “I do not look like someone ran over my puppy.” He glared down at her.

Gabrielle had been amused at first by how Tony was acting, but as soon as she heard his next words, her expression changed for a moment. She didn’t like that it seemed like he had a say in her life and who she spent time with. He was the father of their daughter and yeah she was still incredibly attracted to him, but she still had her own autonomy. “ I’m not going to not go with someone just because you and him have problems. I still get a say in who I spend my time with” She explained in as rational of a way she could muster. “ If you don’t want to talk about that fine. I’m not gonna press you on it. But let me have a good time tonight with my friends without staring at me like your trying to burn a hole in the back of my head. Believe me, I noticed”
---
Tony was ready to put up a fight at any given moment, but it was the change of her expression that made him back down. He knew that he often went too far, and while he wished things could be easy, he was still angry. Angry with her for not trying harder to tell him, angry with Chase for acting like he was better, and angry at himself for not picking up the damn phone when she’d called him. He was about to respond, but then she called him out on his staring and he felt his gaze drop to the floor. Making it one of the few moments of the night where he wasn’t looking at her. “Fine. You want me to leave you alone, I’ll fucking leave you alone.” He muttered, lifting his gaze back to hers. “By the way, I’m staring because you look beautiful tonight, Gabrielle.”
the-gabrielle-hayward:
Gabrielle had seen Tony as she had walked in. It was hard to ignore the feeling of someone’s on her and watching every move. She had been trying to have a good time despite it though and was doing her best to ignore the father of her child. She moved to talk to another friend once Chase had moved away a moment only to be pulled aside by Tony. “ Yeah. He’s my best friend. ‘ Gabrielle replied not feeling the need to defend her decision tonight, but let out a sigh nonetheless at this interaction. “ What am I supposed to do? Wait around for you to ask me because we had sex again? I actually don’t know how you feel about me Tony” Gabrielle admitted looking over at him. Their relationship was a mess, so she didn’t want to complicate it further tonight.
---
Tony tried not to react when she called Chase her best friend, though he still felt his lip curl into a slight snarl, god he hated that man. His hand remained firmly planted on her arm as she continued to speak, doing his best not to sigh. There was a part of him the knew she was right, but it was much easier to let his anger consume him. “That still doesn’t mean you had to come with him.” He growled slightly, if he were slightly more aware, he would’ve noticed how his actions mimicked that of a puppy trying to protect its favourite toy. “My feelings-” He started before furrowing his brow. “Not to be discussed in such a public place.”

You’re not wearing that dress are you? Her mother’s voice had pierced into one of the punched in holes that had scabbed over. No longer tender to her harsh words and unsolicited “advice.” Zelie had taken it in stride while stepping into her outfit. Sheer black and appliques were placed in all the right places to leave something to the imagination; She was determined to have a good time, let the champagne get to her head, and sweep her away in the fanciful notion this wasn’t the most dangerous place she could be. The vibration of danger that hung in the air was why Zelie was peering through the crowd for her date; best to be near someone who immigrated power than to find herself caught between something she couldn’t wiggle free from. Caught by the glorious moment of it all, Zelie hadn’t noticed a waiter. Panicked as they pushed behind her and nearly shoved her into Tony. Grabbing his arm, Zelie caught herself before making an ass of herself, shooting a dangerous glare at the back of a waiter who was already zooming between guests like a restless ghost trying hard not to be seen. Lifting her eyes, Zelie raked over him with a shake of her head. “You look like you stepped right out of peaky blinders.” She teased, ignoring the stumble that nearly took out her weaker leg while smiling through a shooting pain that was settling at the bottom of her foot.
---
Tony needed to keep himself distracted. The tensions were already high enough tonight, and he didn’t need to add the anger he held towards the man who had brought the mother of his child to this event. He plucked a glass off a passing tray, keeping his eyes on the crowd as he specifically avoided looking in the direction of the woman he’d been watching all night. As he emptied the glass he passed it off to another waiter, just in time for the frigtened young man to push past someone and shove them in him.
He placed his hand on the woman's arm to help her steady herself. “Can’t say I know what that means, but here’s hoping it a compliment.” His signature smirk forming on his lips as he looked down at the woman, noticing specifically how her dress left very little to be imagined. “Are you alright?” He asked, now removing his hand from her arm. “You almost took a tumble.”

special delivery - @antonioxiglesia
Somewhere in the night, all she needed was a breathe of fresh of air. Maybe it was the tension building the room or the anger she was carrying that was boiling up to the surface. Usually whenever the Whitlock woman got angry she had a way to get it out but tonight - it was impossible unless she wanted to start a war. She walked out, breathing out the second her face hit the cool air. She tilted her head to look up at the sky, hearing the door open behind her. She turned to face the figure. “Tony,” of course.
---
Tony wasn’t the most observant man, usually his mind was trying to focus on so many things at once that he lost sight of the things directly in front of him. Though as Alexandra breezed past him in a huff, he found himself turning to follow her outside. He expected no warmth in her tone, so he wasn’t surprised when she greeted him coldly. The male held his hands up in defence. “Just wanted to see if you were alright.”
