I’ve received a bunch of worried messages about my absence lately. :,T

I’m still alive and alright! I have another blog-gallery focused on my own projects and characters – and is where I’ve spent most of my time.

I feel kind of iffy about cross-pollinating my galleries normally, so I wanted to wait until the new one could stand on its own legs before I said anything. Might be a lil unfair of me to keep my art hidden from people that likes it, so I’m also feeling a lil counter-iffy about my iffyness. Really sorry about that! Some of you already found it though, and that’s pretty cool!

Y’know... Probably not. With the new lore, the origin I knew/planned isn’t there anymore. Maybe after I read the new lore I might get the gears turning and new ideas will pop up. But as it is now, I can’t really continue with what I had. :,3 From what I’ve understood, there isn’t much angst built over the years between the two anymore. (I really should read it soon, I might be all wrong...)

But yeah, if so... I’ll miss the angst.

Got a lot of previous emotional investments to sorta... Let go off. Feels wrong to say, but I’m kinda relieved I didn’t spend more time on realizing my headcanons based on the old lore. I still haven’t read the new thing, but I’ve heard things that would be troublesome for the plans that I had.

When I first picked Leona to be my baby, I didn’t go by much more than “Lady clad in armor and using a shield. She’s the one.” Delving into the lore came after. Had I joined the community AFTER the new lore, I would have gone into it with excitement. Like I did for the old lore. Just gotta take some time to reformat my established emotions and impressions before I dive into the new stuff.

Leona and Diana will always be my babies. I’ll always find reasons to make sure they stay that way. No matter what shape, form or actions they take.

I really appreciate the deep level of detail the modeler/texture artist(s) put into this skin. Like... Wow.

Beyond that, all she’s missing is a cute little sidekick creature for her to be a proper magical girl. Unless her staff is like the talking Kaleidosticks in the Fate/Kaleid liner Prisma Illya series. It does look very similar after all!
