they say "never play on patch day" but the mmo environment i thrive in the most is the first two or three meta event cycles after a new patch when noone knows what's happening and everyone's like huh and people are yelling about shit telegraphing and there's 99 dead players on the ground that don't respawn and you win with 1 minute on timer not because of hard mechanics but because everyone sucks at gaming. this is the true joy of multiplayer games
