“He’s still my son!” Cece feigned shock that Aoife would even suggest the idea before turning semi-serious. “No but really, you won’t have to watch him at all. He’s so small I can take him literally everywhere with me.”
“Great, because while he’s cute, I don’t think I could do it,” she had never thought about having animals. A family? That was often crossing her mind, and while animals could be adorable she was still happy by watching them from afar. “And don’t let him destroy my things, please.”

Serena: One golden star goes to my honey. ;)
Serena: Lets make this a deal. How about I pick you up tomorrow at 2?
Aoife: 2am? That's how much you want to see me dancing? :O
Aoife: I work until 9pm, then we can see each other.
you've got me surrounded;
You have a kid? She asked and Oliver laughed softly, watching as Katie struggled to put her backpack on. He should be helping her, but he figured he’d let her try for a while longer. “She’s my goddaughter.” He said, watching as the petite blonde girl finally succeeded in her task and came back running to the duo, with a smile on her face and hugged Oliver’s legs. “But, I’m going to be a father in a couple of months, so I’m practicing with this one, right, munchkin?” He picked her up, adjusting her against his hip, before planting a kiss on her cheek, which prompted a laughter from the little girl’s lips. “Look at you! You’re already impressing your new teacher!” He smiled at the little girl, before looking at the brunette. This was the second time that she had found and excuse to rush out of the room, or at least, to deny his company. Maybe he was being too self-centered and she actually had places to go and people to see, however, since he remembered her reaction to him at the ball, he couldn’t help but to wonder if she was avoiding him because he had told her that he worked with the Helios project. It was the only thing that made sense. Maybe she was friends with Jonathan Richmond or something.
“Why don’t you let us drive you home?” He offered instead and hoped that she would say yes. If she didn’t then, it would probably be his cue to know that yes, she didn’t want to be in his presence and was trying to avoid him. “I’m sure Katie wouldn’t mind, would you, Katie Kates?” The little girl in his arms smiled, shaking her head as she giggled. “See? Besides, she loves going on car rides, so it’s really not a problem to give you one.”
She’s my goddaughter. The words echoed inside of her mind while her hand moved up and down, an automatic act to make it seem as if she was listening to him still, but deep down her mind was heading to another direction. Someone had trusted him enough to make him godfather. She wasn’t wrong to assume the worst on people, it was easier, but how could she assume the best on him now? It was conflicting, consuming her mind and it was even worst when the adorable human being was standing next to him. She smiled at the girl, before her attention was at him. “She’s great. She could go far if she wants to,” winking at the girl and showing her a big smile, it was definitely easier to talk to him while focus on the innocent life standing close to them.
She was hesitant, her right leg moving behind giving some distance between them, moving her lower lip and biting it. He once said that if she could break him in two. She just had to remind herself that while it wasn’t the best image she could leave in Astoria, she could do indeed such thing.
“A ride, a quick and meaningless ride.” The meaningless word wasn’t used as innuendo for something more than friend, which was something they weren’t, she was just hoping he wouldn’t enjoy that she was trapped inside of the car so he could make questions. But still, she knew the possibility was there. “The things I do to make you smile, Katie.” She replied, waiting for them so she could head to the direction where his car was.
“You can call me Sam.” The brunette smiled at the other woman, appreciating the thought. Even though she could handle herself, it was a nice gesture. “Alright. We’ll get the taxi to drop you off by your house and you can give me your number, that way, I’ll text you and we can do something fun to repay your kindness.”
“Of course, at least now I have the certainty that I can,” after she called for the cab, she also sent a message for Joseph. Just in case, she thought to herself before her attention was again back to the brunette. “Something fun, now you have my full attention. Because the amount of stressed beings I’ve found in thie town... it’s disappointing.” Once the taxi was there, the girl, opened the door, getting inside of it and waiting for the brunette to do the same.
Natalie somehow found herself in a funk the past few days. Not that ‘i dont know what to do with my life’ type of funk (though she didn’t know what to do with her life), but the type of funk where she couldn’t do anything right. She’s been avoiding everyone besides those at work, and at work she’s been messing up orders that she’s written down more times than she can count. Her solution? Hang out at Kingston’s and eat her weight in fries and drinks. She slid into her signature bar stool, and soon afterwards noticed someone heading towards the bar stool beside her. “The seat’s taken.” She called, not wanting to deal with people at the moment.
Aoife looked at the empty seat and later at the woman, who apparently just didn’t want any company. “The seat is taken now, thank you for saving it for me.” With a shrug, she sat exactly where she wasn’t welcomed, smiling at the bartender and asking for a dry martini. Joseph was suppose to be there by now, but it seemed he was going to be late that night.
Barra blinks once. Two. Then, three times. He looks at the portrait in front of him, giving it another shot at trying to comprehend what he’s seeing, however the effect was still that he felt obtuse. For a brief moment he got irritated with himself, since the people that were there coming and going to the front of the image did exclameted “Ohs!” and “Ahs!” like it was supposed to mean something and he needed to understand that. “What do you think of this?” He asked to the person next to him, pointing directly to the front.
“Hey, you are the guy who created late games. I must say I’m surprised that you’re here.” She teased, showing a smile before standing next to me. “I’ll have a point of view of art that might differ from yours. Wouldn’t be better to talk to the artist that created this beauty?”

Serena: Wait, hold the phone. I never knew you could dance. I learned hip hop in high school. I'd love to see you perform.
Aoife: If I don't hold it, it will fall, baby.
Aoife: I do! I used to when I was living abroad... then I decided to focus on teaching kids, but I could always dance for you! And you can do the same for me.
2x07 - That didn’t stop you from singing.

“You know–sharing a cab doesn’t sound that horrible.” Sam closed her hood and turned to the other brunette. “I’m Samantha. Nice name, Aoife. Where are you headed? Because we might be going to completely opposite directions.”
“I know, that’s why I offered,” she smiled, watching the woman as she grabbed her phone to ask for a cab, while the brunette kept talking. “Thank you, I like it too. And even if we’re heading opposite directions, I won’t mind. It’s better than leaving you here alone, Samantha.” She replied to acknowledge that she had heard the woman’s name before. “But I’m heading home, it’s not really far from here... just a few blocks.”
“Don’t listen to her.” She told the puppy, scratching him behind the ears. “She’s just jealous the attention is elsewhere.”
“It’s adorable, that I need to say,” she looked at the puppy close to Cecelia. “As if... I’m still more interest than a puppy. But hey, now that I acknowledge his existence, does it make him your son or our son?”

Serena: Should I make it harder?
Serena: Hey now, that's my girl! What's the job?
Aoife: You could try ;)
Aoife: That's really nice to read. And I'm teaching ballet at Barcroft.
Samantha tried starting her car for what seemed to be the third time that night. Popping the hood open, she took a look under it, using her phone’s flashlight to aid her, but what did she even know about cars in the first place? Letting out a sigh, she tried calling the number of a tow service or her trustworthy mechanic, but one line was busy and the other just rang.
“Are you kidding me?” She grunted, kicking the wheel of her car.
"I probably won’t be of much help because I don’t own a car, but we could share a cab and you can get your car tomorrow. Or if you want I can keep you company until someone comes here to do their job,” she replied. Placing her bag on the ground as she walked closer to the car. If only she knew a thing or two about it. “I’m Aoife, by the way.”
Sofia didn’t like the crowd that night in Blackout. Too many guys — not enough drinks – not enough distractions and then – cornered. The questions, the — was that their attempt at flirting? Sofia didn’t want to know. “Please just let me get back to my job,” She asked, clutching the empty tray to her chest. Purposely hiding the name tag, curling a loose strand behind her ear as she began to dart forward, as a hand blocked her. “Let me go—”
"Leave the girl alone...” Aoife sighed once she noticed the little scene, she could show her fangs to scare them away. Just humans, but still it didn’t seem fair, words could make the same job. “Unless you would like me to tie your penises together like a shoelace, go away.”
She waited until they would go away so she could direct her words to the girl. “Now you can get back to your work. Threats usually do the job with impolite misogynist men.”
