01. REGARDING MAGIC.

he is the son of a powerful apostate and a noble mother whom has ties to the so-called unlucky amell family, in which they have a history of producing mage heirs-- and as such, it was rather by rare chance that hawke lacked the strong affinity for the supernatural. the magic was ever-so present in him, yes; but he never sought to increase his potential. if anything, he knew he would be too engrossed in blood magick, as morally sickening as the concept of it is. thus, he only relies on his limited powers in times of dire need and/or anger, which has been more than frequent as of late.
