If there was something that Kei promised himself he'd never do, it was teaching. He didn't want to teach when he was younger. He hated to have to deal with stupid and snotty kids. It grossed him out, that's why he always had a good excuse as to why not to tutor his neighbourhood kids. But now, years after he did that promise to himself, there he was. Being introduced as the new literature teacher. Kei wanted to laugh, and wanted to imagine what his younger self would say. Probably just snap his tongue and look away. God, he was such a tool when he was a kid.

After being formally introduced to the other teachers, he was left on the teacher lounge to further introduce himself with the other teachers. When he started going around, he saw someone that looked fairly familiar, and wondered if he knew the man from before. Maybe from school. He shrugged off the thought and went over to introduce himself. "Good morning, I'm Tsukishima Kei. Nice to meet you."

Kei was a the meeting when the other teachers and the principal discussed adding one more extracurricular subject to their list. As far as he was concerned, Kei really didn't care if they added one more or not. Honestly, as long as the decision didn't affect his schedule and lessons, he really couldn't care less about whatever happened around the school. So when they all decided to add dance lessons as an option for those who couldn't do PE, Kei only shrugged, wondering if he could go back to his classes now.

Of course, he didn't know that some students would take this new lesson while on school hours. But then again, he didn't really particularly care. So he was surprised when he walked by the gym and heard classical music playing. He wondered what was happening, what urged him to peek in the gym, spotting a young looking girl dancing, quite beautifully, in the middle of the gym, as if to exemplify for the students to copy her. He found it rather amusing, and stayed for a little while, watching the students struggle with the steps.

If there was something that Kei enjoyed more than reading, it was music. Ah, the feeling of different instruments coming together forming an armony brought joy into Kei's heart, and so when he heard music coming from the usually deserted music classroom, Kei perked up, and wondered if there was a rogue student making use of grounds that weren't allowed in. Still, the music coming from there was beautiful, extremely beautiful, and thought that maybe he could pretend that he didn't hear a thing. But he just couldn't let that slide, no matter how great the person playing was.

The blonde slowly approached the classroom and walked in after peeking. "Are you a student? You know you are not allowed in here?"

Hinata had to admit that he didn’t exactly trust Tsukishima when it came to personal matters, specially negative personal matters. He was too scared that the other would make fun of him, as he always did. But at the same time, he was his teammate, and that meant the world to him.

“No it’s not…It’s not that” Shouyou replied softly as he looked at the ground. Being small wasn’t something that ever bothered him to this point. It was just upsetting, but nothing really serious “If I t-tell you…You have to promise not to make fun of me! This is not a game, Tsukishima!” Why was he even considering this?!

When Kei noticed the seriousness in Hinata's voice, he frowned if only a little. This was a side of Hinata that Kei didn't know, and it was so different that he couldn't really believe it was coming from the same loud person he despised to be near of. "Alright." He replied carefully as he approached the shorter male. He grabbed a chair and pulled it close to Hinata, sitting down in front of him. "I won't make fun of you, or spread it aroud. I'm an asshole, but I'm not a fucking asshole." He reassured the boy. "So tell me, what's up?"

As far as he was concerned, it was another regular winter day for Kei. He got up early, got his clothes warmed up by the heat, put them on, went to practice, to school and that was it.

Right?

Wrong.

As he walked out of the school, all by himself, since Yamaguchi was at home due to the flu, Kei noticed Sugawara standing on the entrance of the school. He barely narrowed his eyes, wondering what was the older male doing over there. But he couldn't voice his question since before he had any time to react, a cold boy wrapped itself around him. The blonde's eyes opened wide as he looked down at his Sempai. From all the things he expected to happen, this was not one of them. "I-huh..." He was caught off guard and without a snarky reply to Sugawara's question. "I don't know..." He finally spoke, not realizing that he could pull the other male away.

Kei knew that being alone with his brother at home would be a mistake, but still he stayed, even when he could have go and spend the night at Yamaguchi's. He had been locked in his room for the entire evening, and only went out when he heard strange noises coming from the stairs. When he approached it he rolled his eyes at the sight in front of him. "You are like this when you are alone? I'm wondering how are you still alive." He commented on his usual voice. "Are you going to get up or are you just sleeping there?"
