World Lampshade
“…That might be the best compliment you’ve ever given me.” Tea was surprised, he expected maybe an ‘alright’ or maybe just a smile with no answer at all. He had gotten used to those short answers, but that meant a lot more. He was still just a big cautious, but he leaned to give the taller trainer a kiss on the cheek. “Personally, I’d rather sing it with you. You do a lot better than I do.” He smiled more at Cotton, “but, I’m amazed you thought it was that good. Thank you.”
He leaned a bit on Cotton, glancing back at the studio around them before shrugging. “I think I’m done here for today otherwise… unless your manager wants to pull you away again, want to get away from work for a little while?” He hoped not, he had half a mind to send out one of his pokemon to distract the manager for a little while. Cotton had been gone too long to be pulled away again now.
He snorted again, before frowning a little and tilting his head to the side fully now, no longer looking at the other as he pointedly stared at a point somewhere above Tea’s shoulder. “Don’t expect any more compliments like that, ever again.” He just murmured, before blinking at the kiss he received on his cheek, only humming affirmatively.
He shook his head, before clearing his throat and raising his hand to scratch the side of his jaw. He didn’t think his manager would pull him away right now, instantly, but he could never be too sure with him. “I think I’ve got a break right now... And if not, I’m taking one. I’m desperate to go back to asshole-no-expression-mode.”
