Some Modern AU Headcanons
[Iâm still stuck not being able to write but I made some modern au headcanons for the main crew]
Encounters :|| IC Musing/ Modern AU
The tanned boy yawned as he walked out of the decorated store; quickly glancing inside his bag before eyes caught a child sitting by themselves.
Echos :|| IC Musing
[I wrote this like 1-2 months ago but forgot to post so umm... Itâs dumb but here]
But Nothing Happened :|| IC Musing
Tifina sighed to herself lightly, placing her broom to the side as she glanced at the statue of her Goddess.
Child Drawings :|| IC Musing/After Story
[Today on this is so far in the future welp oh well]
Early Birthday :|| IC Musing / Modern AU
Bright blue eyes looked around the streets, taking in all the Christmas decorations people had outside.
Small Mistakes :|| IC Musing
Lachlaan stretched after putting down the last box; an old lady smiling behind her.
IDK what to call this lol :|| IC Musing
Blue eyes looked towards one of the hotels in Wout, something about it seemed... Strange to her. Almost like she was forgetting something. She continued her confused stare until she felt a tug on her sleeve; a small elf staring up in confusion.
"Ahh, I am sorry, seems I got distracted..." Lachlaan looked towards the elderly woman who had asked her a question while she zoned out. "I would be happy to help, but first I have to take Yaku home."
The old woman nodded. "That's fine dear take your time, as long as it's done before nightfall I don't mind."
Lachlaan took the small elf by the hand with a nod as they both begun walking home, the blonde taking notice to the two siblings walking the opposite direction.
" Uhm. . . Hello?" Sky looked around the shrine in which her ghostly brother had pointed her in the direction too. It was late sure but did gods really sleep? Probably not much, so a late visit wasn't too bad right? Hopefully.
Pavitra had been staring at a black books cover in the corner of the shrine; almost as if in a trance. The sudden voice catching him off guard.
âAhh!â The Gods head jerked up suddenly before realizing who it was. With a small smile Pavitra pulled the book into his coat and walked over to the small girl. âHello there⌠Sky was it? Did you need something?â
The only people who ever visted his shrine at night was Kemen and the Naheâs; it certainly was strange but she must of needed something.
â ⌠Ah yes! Sky! T⌠That is my name, that it is!â Sky nodded furiously. Her stomach was doing flips. Why was she nervous?  Maybe it was the appending doom of asking very ludicrous sounding questions to a god.
â ⌠Well err⌠â Sky bit the inside of her cheek, her azure eyes looking away for a moment before sighing. Her nervous demeanor dropping a little as she seemed to fidget with her doll, producing a thick book from inside of it. She flipped to a page, looking up at the god briefly before back to the text on the paper.
â ⌠Pavitra, God of Wisdom⌠right? Obviously youâre not Kemen⌠and you donât look like youâd be a ââ She paused, looking back at her book. â ââWynfredaâ, either. â  She closed the book, holding it close to her person as she continued.
â A friend⌠once told me about you. And if youâre really a god of wisdom like she said⌠then maybe you can help me.â Sky mumbled then paused once more. â However ⌠ Can I trust you will not tell anyone about this? Especially ⌠Lachlaan and Kemen?â Her azure eyes looked directly at Pavitra with serious gaze.
âCorrect, my name is Pavitra.â The God nodded lightly; taking note how nervous she was.
âAs a God of wisdom it is usually my job to tell people things but.â The red haired God paused for a moment; looking down at what he assumed a book she held close. âI promise to keep whatever it is a secret.â
So; was he correct about who âLalaâ and âKiki" were? It seemed so since she brought up their names.
Sky hesitated for a moment. Could she really trust him? Why not⌠she had nothing else to lose.
â Right wellâŚItâs a long story in which⌠you probably wont believe me. But Iâm taking the chance youâll at least⌠humor me. â She took a deep breath and held it to calm herself before returning to her book. Opening it and looking through the pages slowly she tried to get her thoughts and questions together.
â Plain and simple⌠I travel through time.  Alot.â Sky stopped at a certain page in her book, its dark aura showing words to her as she continued. â ⌠Itâs an ability I have⌠to reset time when I choose⌠to try and stop things from happening. And Iâve been trying⌠for years⌠Pavitra. â Her gaze at the book did not leave, azure orbs looking at her own chicken scratch on the paper.
â Itâs kind of funny⌠so many timelines⌠and this is my first time actually⌠meeting you.â She shook her head. â My point⌠and why Iâm here is⌠something happens to my friends. And Iâve been trying to stop it.â She glared at the pages of her book, a bitter tone filling her voice. â But it seems ⌠I canât save them no matter how much I tryâŚâ
The small woman finally looked away from the grimoire, closing it once more to hug it to her person, as if protecting the forbidden tome from the world. She frowned, finally looking up at the taller man.
â ⌠Pavitra? ⌠Is there something wrong with my friends? ⌠More-so⌠with Lala. Is it something⌠I canât stop? Is all of this for nothing? ⌠Am I ⌠fighting a losing battle with fate?  â  Her voice quieted to nothing but a whisper as she ended her question.
Pavitra stayed silent as the girl spoke. Time travel? Timelines? The God had read about them but it was never proven to be true.
But she seemed to be telling the truth.
âI believe there is always a way to change fate; as long as you do it correctly.â Pavitraâs hand fumbled with the book he held under his cloak in silence. Should he bring it up?
With a small sigh; the red haired God continued. âThere are⌠Letâs say strange things having to do with Lachlaanâs past; though I donât know if they relate to your troubles.â
Sky bit her lip. What did he mean by âcorrectlyâ? Had she been doing everything wrong? But⌠she had been trying to fix things the only way she knew howârewinding time and trying again.
â ⌠Strange? ⌠AhâŚ! O-OF COURSE THEY RELATE TO MY TROUBLES!â Sky exclaimed, making no effort to tone down her voice. Did they? Her troubles seemed related to everything in some way or anotherâŚ
â ⌠What if thereâs something in the past that could solve the coming disaster. I-I could prevent it this time! I-Instead of ⌠dying⌠. over and overâŚand over. A-And if itâs not then I could just ⌠reset again. And try looking elsewhere!  All ⌠all I would have to do is just rewind time! ⌠Even⌠Even if Shu doesnât want me too! Whatâs one more death to add one to the hundreds already! Hahahââ
Skyâs pointed ears seemed to lower slightly as she frowned, suddenly hearing herself talk so morbidly for the first time and halting when she did. Â She was silent again, the main reason she had come seeking advice now in her head.
â âActually⌠my troubles⌠while they do relate to Lala⌠are different I guess.â She looked to her boot clad feet while sighing softly. â ⌠Do you think⌠Lachlaan and Kemen would approve of a friend⌠sacrificing herself over and over⌠just to try and save them? ⌠Would they scold that friend? Heh⌠I canât even ask them⌠because in this time⌠I am just a stranger to them.â Her gaze rose to stare at Pavitra in silence. â ⌠I want answers ⌠to questions I canât ask. And I want answers⌠to mysteries that I am not fated to solve.â
Skyâs hand rested on the cover of the dark tome, a bitter smile on her face. â ⌠You say fate can change if you do it correctly. Well? ⌠. Is my constant death and resets⌠incorrect? Are my constant various warnings to them in different timelines the wrong approach? ⌠Hell, is my very existence an error?!⌠If this is all the wrong way⌠then tell me the correct way! Tell me! â
It was clear the small woman was at her wits end. She was lost with no answers to her many questions. â ⌠I just⌠want them⌠to be happy⌠â
Pavitra listened to her troubles; letting her get it all out before he thought up an answer. âWhile it may seem like the best choice; sacrificing yourself will lead to both sides having heartbreak.â The God subconsciously placed his and over one of his eyes. âEven if they donât rememberâŚâ
When he realized what he was doing, Pavitra put his hand down with a smile. âHave you ever thought what they want, or have this whole time you did it on your own accord?â
The God sighed lightly. âWhile I canât answers all your questions I can say this. Think of all the friends you made in any timeline. If you told them you were going to sacrifice yourself for them; what would they say? What would they do? I can almost guarantee these answers will tell you the best way to make them happy.â
