If I can keep my schedule free.
What if I just made every prompt this year the name of a yankee candle or bath and body works scent?
Dates TBD btw
Just a reminder I will still be reblogging late entries for the next week or so so don’t worry if you haven’t posted yet!

APH Fall Fandom Week: Day 7 - Legends and Monsters
The unicorn is a legendary creature whose horn has supposedly magical properties.
Finally, this is done. I probably won’t update as much now that this is over.

Day 7: Legends and Monsters
I wanted to do something more scary for this, but I couldn’t help making it fluffy. I literally got back from a hockey game an hour ago, and wrote this in 50 minutes. So here’s my last submission for @aphfallfandomweek! Honestly, I always see Lud as a werewolf in any type of art and I just thought I could make something hotter out of this.
Prompt: Legends and Monsters
Warning(s): blood, vampires (idk I just did vampires and fluff it’s weird)
Title: Blood
Pairing: Germany x Reader
“Ah, ja, (Y/N), that’s good.” You tilted your head to the side, pushing aside your hair. The man sitting on the chair in front of you leaned forward in anticipation. “Sehr gut.” He smirked and licked his lips, and you couldn’t help but worry.
“Ludwig, how does this work, exactly?” He looked up at you, understanding your worries, though his foot was tapping and you could tell he was getting impatient. And hungry.
“You don’t need to do anything. And I promise I won’t take a lot.” He looked at you with gentle, blue eyes, and took your hands in his calloused ones. “You know I only do this because I need to, right? I could never think of you as just a meal or- or an energy source.” You understood. Whenever he could, Ludwig would substitute human blood for blood from store bought meat- even if he said it wasn’t as fulfilling- and on special occasions, you would allow him some of yours- and he’d try his best to make it pleasurable for you too. You knew he would never do anything out of line. You trusted him with your life. Literally. “You know I love you. And the fact that you’re willing to do this… I’m eternally grateful.”
“I know. I love you to.” He pulled you close, and you sat on his lap on the chair, knees on either side of his legs, locking your lips on his. He kissed you softly, passionately, before getting progressively rougher. He nipped on your bottom lip as soft as he could, but the sharp tooth drew blood painlessly. You shivered as he got the first taste of your blood before pulling back.
“Do you understand how significant this moment is- between a vampire and his lover?” You shook your head and Ludwig smiled. “It’s a if I’m claiming you. So others like me don’t try anything.”
“So you’re doing me a favor, because other vampires won’t hurt me now?” You ran your fingers through his hair.
“Exactly.” He kissed your throat, trailing his lips to the junction of your neck and breathing deeply. He could smell the metallic scent of your blood already. He gave a few licks to the spot you figured he was about to bite, and you groped around for his hand, holding it in comfort. He set his lips against your skin again and met your gaze before you felt his mouth around the spot, the cool tips of his sharp tooth against your neck. You felt him puncture the skin, and you cried out, grasping his hand like a lifeline.
“Ludwig!” you shivered in his arms, your body trying unconsciously to get away, though you knew this was to help Ludwig survive. He held you tight against him, preventing any movement as he clenched down harder on your neck. You felt the warm blood trickle down your your shoulder, and heard a breathy gasp from him. Immediately, his mouth detached from your skin, tongue working to lap up the blood that was escaping. You were warm, flushed from the heat of his body and the heat of the blood on your skin, and slightly dizzy from blood loss.
Ludwig continued to hold you against him, licking your neck as the bleeding slowed and eventually stopped. By that time, he had simply laid his mouth over the wound, lapping periodically at it and giving it wet kisses. He relaxed and allowed you to move, though still held you securely in his arms.
“Let me put bandages on there, okay?” He stood, picking you up in his arms. “I know that must have hurt, but it’s over, yeah?” You smiled and laughed.
“Do you feel full now?” Ludwig nodded.
“Thank you. I won’t need this again for a while. You have no idea how much I owe you. How much you mean to me.”
“I love you.”
“I love you too, schatzi.”
Day 7: Legends and Monsters
Damn, I’m actually really sad that this is over. I really enjoyed this more than I thought I would. To the person who made this, if you’re reading this, please make more events like this! (And maybe longer, if it’s not too much trouble?)
Also! I know that mermaid!Seychelles is super cliche at this point, but I couldn’t resist. Also also, this fanfiction is kind of an experiment. I’m testing out a new writing style. What do you guys think of it?
@aphfallfandomweek
It had been years since Seychelles had seen anyone from the human world. Not because she stayed underwater, oh no. She spent as much time in the sun as possible. But rumours of sharks at the beach near her home had driven most tourists away. Of course, Seychelles knew better. There hadn’t been a single shark sighting in decades. But, unfortunately, no one asked her opinion on the matter, and she just had to grumble about it alone.
Sighing, she sat on a rock and started to weave little flowers into a few braided strands of seaweed to form a sort of crown, though it really more resembled a belt. She always cut the pieces too long…
She threw the braid back into the water with an irritated huff. Now she had to start over. By now, though, she had lost all interest in braiding and instead simply decided to lean back against the rock and sunbathe. The warm rays of the sun felt glorious on her chilled skin, and as long as she kept her tail submerged, she could stay like this all day, if she wanted to. The notion was tempting, she had to admit.
As she basked in the warm air, she gazed almost lazily over to the beach, her field of vision gliding evenly over the golden sand. When it caught sight of a human, though, it suddenly came to an abrasive stop. “Oh… oh my god…” Seychelles’ eyes lit up and she dove back into the water to swim closer to the shore. She wanted a closer look.
On the beach, Iceland ambled across the sand with a heavy sigh. Norway had dragged him on this stupid “family vacation”, but to him, it wasn’t really a vacation at all. It was far too hot, the crowds were too noisy, and he was constantly on edge thinking about all of the work he’d have to catch up on when he got home.
Eventually, he found a soft dune to sit on and leaned back. Even if the beach was just as hot as anywhere else, at least it wasn’t crowded. In fact, it was completely silent. Iceland was the only one there. Or so he thought.
A sudden splash from a few feet away startled Iceland out of his heat-fuelled haze and his eyes darted around. “Who’s there?!” He hadn’t seen anyone else enter the beach, and there was only one gate to get in…
The splashing continued, though, and Iceland stared at the water as a shadowy figure slowly rose to the surface. Oh god, was this really how he was going to die? Alone on a beach?
When the figure hit the surface, though, Iceland almost laughed out loud. It wasn’t some terrifying sea creature. It was just a girl.
“I’m sorry, did I scare you?” The girl smiled and looked up at him with the biggest brown eyes Iceland had ever seen.
“I-I… no, it’s fine. I was just being dumb…” He smiled awkwardly and kicked the sand below his feet. “Uh… I just didn’t see you come in.”
“Come in?” Seychelles tilted her head to the side in surprise at the comment. “Come in where? Oh! You mean come in the beach.”
“I… yeah.” The man seemed so confused… “You… there’s only one gate, so I thought I’d see you either on the beach or coming in after me…”
“Oh, there is more than one entrance, though.”
“I… I’m sorry?”
Seychelles giggled and flicked some water at him. “From the ocean, silly.” She propped herself up a rock to get a better look at him, revealing her shimmering golden tail for the first time.
“Holy shit…”
“What? Haven’t you ever seen a mermaid before?”
“Of course I haven’t!” The man’s cheeks were flushed red. “I-I mean- Not that there’s anything bad about it! I just didn’t know they were real, that’s all.”
“Oh, we’re certainly real.” Seychelles shook her head and giggled again. It was kind of adorable how clueless he was.
“Are…” The man swallowed thickly. “So are there more of you? Like… are mermaids common around here?”
“Hm… I wouldn’t say common, but not uncommon, either,” Seychelles shrugged, “But anyways, I’m not interested in talking about that. I want to know more about you! What’s your name?”
“Iceland…”
“Iceland! A pleasure to meet you.” Seychelles took his hand with a grin and squeezed it, her magic sending a tingling sensation all the way up his arm. It was quite a formal greeting for her kind, she knew, but she also kind of wanted to show off her abilities to this stranger.
Iceland’s eyes widened at the sensation and he stared at her for a moment. What the hell was going on?! “I-I… what did you just do?”
“Oh, nothing much. It’s just a greeting. I gave you a bit of energy.” As nervous as Iceland was, the girl had such a sweet, genuine smile, he couldn’t help but feel a bit more at ease around her.
“Oh… so… you know my name. Now what’s yours?”
“Seychelles.”
Iceland nodded slowly and took a moment to just fully take in the creature before him. She was gorgeous. Her hair was only a slightly deeper shade of brown than her skin, and that stark contrast with her almost glowing tail was truly something to behold.
“Is something wrong?” Seychelles tilted her head to the side. “You’re staring at me like I’ve got the plague.”
“O-oh! Sorry. You’re just… pretty, I guess,” Iceland mumbled, his cheeks growing even redder.
“Oh! I… thank you!” She seemed genuinely taken aback… “Well, Iceland, what brings you to this beach alone?”
The time seemed to fly by as Iceland just sat and spoke with the beautiful mermaid. Even if at first he was uncomfortable, he slowly grew accustomed to the concept, and before long, it seemed to be the most natural thing in the world. He didn’t even realize how much time had passed until Seychelles pointed out that the sun was setting.
“You should probably go now,” she said quietly.
“I… yeah. I guess so… But… Seychelles, can I…?” Iceland cleared his throat. “Could I come visit you again? Maybe tomorrow?”
Seychelles’ eyes lit up at the proposition. “I would love that, Iceland.” Carefully, she climbed up onto the rock to gain a little more height and leaned forward, pressing her damp lips against Iceland’s cheek. “I’ll see you then?”
Iceland’s face exploded with heat at the kiss. For a moment, he seemed to lose the ability to speak, but somehow, he managed to squeak out a quiet, “Yes, I’ll see you!”
“It’s raining in London. What else is new?” Luckily for Arthur, his younger brothers look out for him.

Matthew sat on the stoop of his house. His feet in their scuffed tennis shoes were on the concrete of the little path that led to his family’s front door. His elbows sat on his knees, and his head rested in the palms of his hands. He wore a t-shirt and jeans, only slightly chilled by the autumn breeze, but annoyed when his hair gusted into his face. As he attempted to blow it away, he muttered about getting a haircut.
But his soft, violet eyes could not be distracted long by his thick, fair, annoyingly long hair. There were people trickling out of their homes, little by little, as the evening crept slowly forward. The youngest were always out first, accompanied by parents or siblings, and not quite sure what this ridiculous tradition was all about yet. They’d come out in cute, ridiculous costumes their parents had chosen, giggling from strollers or peering curiously around as they walked hand-in-hand with their chaperone.
Matthew loved it. Loved watching it all, the kids and their fun, the parents and their coaxing. He love the paper witch they always hung on their door, the smell of the carved jack-o’-lantern beside him, waiting as his first trick-or-treater approached.

Day 6: Treats

As requested by @littlemisslemondrop
“Finland, I think the cocoa might need to be sifted first.”
Finland looked over his shoulder at Sweden and grinned, his nose crinkling slightly from the intensity of it.
“Why do you do that?”
“Do what?”
“You know that you’re right. You’re a way better baker than I am.” Finland kissed Sweden’s jaw lightly before picking up the tin of cocoa powder. “So why do you always act like you’re just guessing?”
Sweden paused for a moment to consider the question, his arms wrapping instinctively around Finland’s waist to hold him close. At length, he simply said, “I don’t like feeling like I’m ordering you around.”
Finland couldn’t help but smile at that. “God, you’re adorable…” he murmured against Sweden’s skin. After a moment, he dug out the sieve and poured in the designated amount of cocoa. “Now what, Martha Stewart?”
A small huff escaped Sweden’s throat that Finland had learned to recognize as a laugh. “Now you add the eggs.”
Finland nodded and his eyebrows knitted together in concentration as he gingerly cracked each egg on the counter - not on the side of the bowl as he was used to! Sweden had advised him against that - before pouring the contents into the bowl.
“Good.” Sweden ran his fingers through Finland’s hair gently. As Finland started to stir the ingredients together, Sweden twisted a few strands of Finland’s hair together to make a delicate little plait. Despite his hands being large and calloused, they had always been surprisingly deft, whether it be with braiding or needlework or anything in between.
Finland flashed a grin at Sweden and tugged his beret slightly to the side so that he had easier access to his hair. As much as he didn’t like to admit it, he had always found Sweden playing with his hair to be oddly soothing.
“So… when do I stop mixing?”
The corners of Sweden’s mouth twitched slightly and he took Finland’s hands in his own. “I think that’s enough.”
“Oh… okay. If you say so.”
Sweden nodded and quickly lined a baking tin with parchment paper before handing it to Finland, who began to pour in the batter.
“Now it goes in the oven.”
Finland carefully slid the tin into the oven, then started to clean up. “Damn… baking sure does leave a mess. How does your kitchen always stay so clean?”
“I usually clean as I go. Makes things faster.”
“Oh, now you tell me.”
“You never asked.” Sweden pulled Finland into a tender kiss and helped him to put the unused ingredients away. “But I’m sorry, raring.”
“Hmph… I’ll forgive you if you kiss me again.”
Sweden hummed quietly and turned Finland around, pressing their lips firmly together in a much deeper lock than before. He held the kiss for a few seconds before slowly pulling away, cheeks flushed. “Better?”
“Much.” Finland was almost whispering as he was still breathless from the kiss. “I… god, I’m so lucky to have you…”
“Hm…”
“I am!” Finland poked Sweden’s nose. “You’re the best boyfriend I could ever dream of.”
“And you’re a dork.”
“Oh, like you’re one to talk.”
A slight laugh escaped Sweden at that and he shook his head. “I suppose that that’s a fair point.”
“I know it is.” Finland’s fingers ghosted over Sweden’s cheek and he sighed contentedly. “You’re so cute… Like a giant teddy bear.”
“Ah… I’m not sure if that’s how I’d describe myself.”
“Well, it’s how I’d describe you, and my opinion is more important than yours, so I’m right,” Finland teased.
“You’ve got me there.” Before Sweden could respond further, the timer on the oven went off. “Ah… that’s the cake.”
“Yay. Let’s see how badly I fucked it up.”
“Oh, I’m sure you did fine.”
“Okay, but if it’s disgusting, promise me you’ll be honest about it so we can buy something from the grocery store instead? I don’t want you throwing up like last time.”
“Don’t be silly.” Sweden brushed some hair out of Finland’s face. “You had my help this time, so it’ll turn out.” And honestly, even if it wouldn’t, Sweden would still eat it, regardless of Finland’s protests.
