These are the shows I draw for, as these are the ones I have an interest in ^^ (I specified LAES 2.0 because I didnāt actually watch LAES 1.0 after the astral plotline started. Apologies if Iām unaware of important lore there!) EAPS stuff is usually also included in the TSAMS tag cause of Eclipse! (he will always primarily be a TSAMS character in my heart)
Also, I do have some misc, non-art posts, so if you just look up any of the tags without the "art" next to it you can see those ^^
Intro:
Hello! Iām Merle (my username pronounced Merle (like in the name Merlin) - The - Earl), and Iāve been an on-and-off fan of TSAMS since 2023! I didnāt really make any serious fanart until recently, but hey! Better late than never! XP So I decided to make a TSBS-centric side blog to post it ^^
(Because of this, my knowledge of some eras of the channels (particularly early eras) are better than others. Iām trying to catch up on the lore right now, though!)
Usually my TSAMS interest comes and goes and this isnāt my main (that would be @linneaarie !), so I may go inactive for long stretches of time in the future. However, I always end up coming back eventually. I hope to make as much art as I can before then ! >:)

"Can I use your art for ___?"
I don't mind if you use my art for edits/dubs/the like, just please credit me somewhere! ^^ You can use my art as a PFP with no credit needed, but please don't use it as an avatar outside of that unless I have specifically made it for you/given you permission (such as a persona in a ranting video/talk sprite in a youtube video. Not sure how that would work but might as well cover all bases ! XP).
Reposting my art to Pinterest or other websites Iām not active on is fine too so long as you credit me. Please don't say that you drew my art or crop out my signature, that's just kinda mean XD
(I make my signature discreet on purpose to not cover the art! ^^')
IMPORTANT: I am only active on TikTok, Tumblr, and YouTube (but I donāt post too often there, Iāll link my YouTube here soon) and will update this post if I join another platform. If you see an account using my name/art on another website that I have not mentioned here and they claim to be here, that is not me.
So for the most part, I am fine with people using my art! :D Just don't be weird about it, I trust that I don't need to make a detailed TOS about what is and isn't acceptable in how my art is used ^^
"What brushes/progam do you use?"
For my regular art:
Clip Studio Paint! I use the default Brush pen under India Ink for lineart (8-9px) and a Chalky brush for rendering (I don't remember exactly where on the Assets store I got it from believe one of these? They're free either way, so can't hurt to try! :>). Recently, I have started using the default Dry Gouache and Gouache Blender brushes as well, and the Noise airbrush.
I also recommend using a large canvas (e.g.: around 3000 x 3000px and 200dpi for a square canvas) if you're doing any sort of rendering/detailed work. It makes blending much easier and is also good if you ever want to print it! :>
For my silly art:
I use a square pixel brush at 2px (I dowloaded one but I think this would work with any square pixel brush you can find, I can't even identify which one I got honestly since they're all the same XD), at set my canvas to ~400x400 px max. Then just go crazy!
"Can I draw your designs for characters / [TSBS OC]?"
Of course! Just please ensure to credit me in some way (not just cause they're mine, but also cause I'd very much like to see it!), however I am grateful if you like them enough to want to draw them ^^

I would say I'm Rosie's #1 defender, but I like to think Rosie fans are all communally her biggest defenders. I do like her quite a lot tho, her, Neptune and the Bloodmoon Twins are my top 3 right now. I am actively trying to increase the amount of art Rosie and Neptune have, every time I see art of them in the wild I cry tears of joy.
A Marvel āAge of Ultronā inspired poster for SAMS and the upcoming arc with Tyrant, a character we know VERY little about. The idea came from originally from @llamaisllama777
And I had saved the idea, but never did it. I suddenly got the random motivation to start it yesterday and finished it today. I donāt even know how much layers this took me.
Iām not the best at making posters, I have no rendering experience whatsoever and idk wtf is goin on with my coloring.

Also that's why we have the wonderful world of fanfics and fanart āØāØāØ Canon cannot affect my silly antics if I simply don't acknowledge it within said antics (Thank you!)

Hello. I have been made aware that someone has been possibly impersonating me / offering commissions under my posts responding to questions around the topic. I would like to clarify that my only accounts are the ones listed in my FAQ. I do have an alt ā my main which Iāve referenced prior (Linneaarie, I like to keep my accounts seperate but unfortunately someone used that to their advantage), but I am currently inactive on there and will not reach out to people through any other account to talk about Merle.
I havenāt opened commissions yet because Iām both doing Art Fight, preparing for uni and preparing for my first con (I donāt have a lot of recent general fanart outside of TSAMS, so making that will be keeping me busy!), and while I do intend to open commissions, it wonāt be until August at the earliest as I cannot currently guarantee a fast turn around time. Until I make an official, public post about commissions, please be careful of trusting another account messaging you claiming to be me.
