Desperate times

I feel as if the past month has been a very low and stressful point of my life concerning college and work. I have been very lost in my world history class and my English literature class due to daydreaming of being somewhere else, of learning something else. As for my writing for research class, I've managed to do all my work on time and my paper on the issue for the ethic and moral rights for animals is half completed. I'm quite proud of it. I've also decided to quit social media after educating myself on the bigger problems of the world, mainly animal consumption and cruelty, veganism and world hunger. Not long after I have decided this, Essena Oneill also made a very bold statement on her Instagram and YouTube pertaining to her perspective on how social media defined her values. After realizing I had not been on social media for days, I went back into it and found out that the mundane and exhausting act of always checking up on other people's lives is irrelevant and I did not care for it any longer. I groaned as I clicked through snapchat stories and scrolled through my Twitter timeline as it no longer interested me. I have made progress in the act of my self evaluation and discovery. Work has been stressful with the new management and most of the time I feel as if I deserve better, that I am not appreciated in this job. However I am trying to keep a positive outlook on my days as they are flying by 🕊 It is now November 9 and my trip to Seattle is in 37 days ✨ It is much needed as I must escape from my mindless routine of school, work, study and sleep.

A little throwback to Guam live, an island festival here on Guam where we saw Hoodie Allen, Tinashe, Cee lo Green, Common Kings, and Far East Movement!! 🎉✨ Definitely a weekend I will always daydream back to.
