“y’ thought this was an amusement park or somethin’? quite far away from bein’ an amusement park.” this place was nothing like an amusement park. the man-eating giants she was talking about, were titans. and nobody knew where they came from, neither anyone knew why they were here. and yet he just wanted to give her some advices, even though he didn’t know who she was. “if you want to live in this place, you have to fight. y’ think y’ can roll it?”

sadly, the humorless were a common bunch—an epidemic really; a hopelessness which made misery all the more miserable in a forsaken world, the proper condition (although not right in anyway) to where pessimism can thrive upon the seriousness that denies even the lightest farce, and causes them to fall on deaf ears. a climate familiar, even when semblances aren't... and that's enough to get the bigger picture.
