Margaret Hamilton is a computer scientist and mathematician. She was the lead software engineer for Project Apollo.  Her work prevented an abort of the Apollo 11 moon landing. She’s also credited for coining the term “software engineer.”

LOL. Glad I saw it here first before I tried it. lol I *did* once go down a really high old slide (straight, though, not bumpy like this one) in the winter and I shot off the end of it and landed pretty hard on the ice. Ouch. Looking back, it wasn’t that smart of me, but oh, well. I’m just wildly and crazily impulsive like that. ;P
