A pair of disembodied spirally eyes is stalking Blight, watching their every mood with curiosity.

It takes Blight a good several minutes to notice them, eventually spying the eyes in the reflection of a cracked window. Ze whirls around to face them, a wildly confused look on zer face.

“Woah. Uh, hey?”

The eyes blink in response,in a strangely friendly manner,and a disembodied wide smile with spirally corners manifests as well.

It stays like that for way longer than it should,as if taunting zer. After a while, static forms in a humanoid shape.

Blight blinks,and suddenly before them stands a humanoid equivalent of an eyesore,with neon green hair that falls in spirally curls that seem to be moving on their own (are they?)

Blights eyes widen significantly. A cautious grin spreading across their face as ze does zer best to keep their eyes focused on the figure in front of them.

“Duuude, you look sick! No sudden moves tho, I’ve got Ghostbusters on speed dial!”

"...Uhh what¿?"

They make an incomprehensible noise,one that sounds like a mix of being flustered and confused,their voice rings in Blights ears, strangely doubled.

Their spirally eyes, nauseatingly bright squint at them in confusion.

Blight grimaces and shakes their head, avoiding looking directly into the figures eyes.

“Yeah sorry, bad joke, nevermind. Uhm, who exactly are you?”

Ze tilts zer head in a matching look of confusion.

Amelie thinks for a second, unmoving.

"Speyeral. You¿?"

They gather themselves into just slightly more humanoid form,not taking their eyes off of them, making the feeling of being watched intensity.

“Ohh, coool…”

Blight nods along awkwardly, constantly shifting zer line of sight, from zer feet, to the sky, to zer feet again.

“I’m, well, I’m just Blight. Tourist of the Future Without Us. Human Geiger counter. Big fan of string cheese. Et cetera. May I ask what your interest in me is?”

Amelie can't help but let out a giggle, something in between adorable and mad hatter-ish.

"Eris was right, you're kinda fun!!¡¡¡ I thought I'd see for myself,what this rare Extinction avatar is like,never seen one myself~"

All of a sudden,their spirally form shifts into a tall human with bright spirally eyes, which is just as bright, somehow.

“Ahhh Eris. That explains a lot!”

Blight’s eyes light up, their stance becoming more relaxed.

“I’m, uh, pleased to be able to provide some entertainment for all you spirally folks out there. Not that’s it’s intentional. Buuut at least it expands my social life!”

Ze shrugs as zer lopsided grin returns, giving into the bizarreness of the situation.

Amelie giggles.

"aaawww is someone feeling more comfortable¿? Not confused by the brightness anymore¿?¿? I can always slip into something more spirally if you're too comfortable looking at me.

Blights eyes narrow again, a thin film of black oil spreading across them.

“Yeah, I’d rather you didn’t, thanks. So is there anything else you need here, or… Any questions you’d like answered? Maybe a selfie or an autograph?”

Ze gives a lacklustre attempt at jazz hands.

Amelie stifles a laughter. They pull out a notebook and a pen out of nowhere and hands it to Blight.

"Oh please do¡¡!!! So I can brag to everyone how I met a true Extinction avatar¡!!¡!! It's an occasion not everyone gets¡!!! Such a rare animal"

Their voice is teasing,a way too wide grin spreading across their face.

Blight sighs dramatically, taking the notebook and pen. Ze writes zer name in big graffiti style letters, complete with a cartoon skull and oil stains on the edge of the page.

“I don’t appreciate being patronised, yknow? I thought meeting Eris was tricky, but at least they were lax on the eye contact. I thank my god for built in sunglasses.”

A small streak of black oil slips from the corner of zer eye. Ze shrugs and hands the notebook and pen back.

“Anything else you’d like?”

"... To be honest...actual conversation¿?"

Amelie's voice is genuine, yet curious.

"Eris is... Eris has a slightly different fear alignment than me,if it wasn't obvious from... Well."

They gesture at their hair,the eyes looking less real and more like eyespots of a peacock feather,or a trick of the light.

“Yeah, you really do put the eye in speyeral. It’s cool tho. I guess.”

They shrug, surprised by the sudden honesty.

“And sure, I can do actual conversation. Probably. Depends what the conversation is, really. But go on, try me!”

Amelie hums, thinking.

A smile creeps across Blight’s face, as they start to relax again.

“Super cool! I don’t really read as much, but I love a good podcast now and then. And music. Something to keep me occupied as I wander around the rubble.”

It is. Usually in a nice way, but not always. I can't really recommend visiting, I kinda hate it here, but if you ever do, just...come to my house if something goes bad. Or go to the graveyard, the graveyard's probably safer.
