Simstim survived and outlived the past, hiding the so called future inside its decaying, misleading walls. Both timelines collapse, convincing you that time is a simulated concept. If they let you in, beware not to lose yourself between the neon arcades and dark corners.

I'm building a cyberpunk nightclub for The Sims 3 - No CC*! My intention was to incorporate Neuromancer's dystopian + high tech world; this idea of analog and past collapsing into the future in weird and sped up ways.

My first build in Paralives + first Parafolks!

The building part is still very glitchy to me (not complaining tho, since it’s still in early access), but the clutter part and flexibility are so heavenly ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡

I played for the whole day (sooo lucky to have a regional holiday here in Brazil one day after the launch) and feel like there is so much more to create and discover. My next plan is to recreate houses I see on Pinterest and just have fun!

The only downside is that my laptop doesn’t run the game, so I’ll only play it when my boyfriend is able to borrow me his laptop 💀

I’ll still play The Sims 3, but more for the gameplay perhaps. Paralives building mode seems very promising. Either way, I see both as different games - not better or worse, just different!

Paralives?

Two days for Paralives early access and I'm very curious!

I was wondering, will you be playing Paralives and sharing your gameplays here?

The Sims 3 always had a huge place in my heart (childhood memories, nostalgia, 4000+ gameplay hours). But.... It has always been a sort of broken/lagged experience to me :( And I have a total of 0 positive feelings about EA in general, but that's another question.

The idea of not having to download several mods and stuff to simply do cozy buildings is very attractive to me. Plus, as a fresh game, I hope my laptop can run it better. And the team is so cool, I mean, it's entirely built by simulation fans!

I'm at my last year of university, and sometimes don't have time to breathe. Building and sharing sims(?) content with you is something I hope to do a lot more of in the future - and if a game like Paralives can make this hobbie a more pleasant experience, I guess I'll embrace it!

What about you?

if you can, please invite someone that never plays The Sims to have fun for a day in your favorite save (and don't save ofc!! hehe)

in one day, my boyfriend manage to throw two parties at the same time, start a fire and completely break my simbot (he turned into a Sim but had the Simbot skills, soooo creepy)
