a whole year later and I'm posting my PJ Masks AU LMAO

my bad chat I was grievingggguh back then, but in honor of my friend I decided maybe I should be cringe, maybe just a little bit...

so in my AU everyone is pretty much moving on, living their lives separate as best as they can (well, almost everyone, but I'll talk about that later). All of the main villains stopped attacking, Luna first, then the Night Ninja - who we're calling Nick - and finally Romeo. Not a trace of them anywhere, and no interest from our heroes to dive further on their whereabouts. A few years later, Romeo comes back, and the only one who knows about this is Nick. With them becoming closer friends over the years, Romeo decided it would be a good idea to let him know where his secret lair was, and trusting Nick to protect it and use it in case he needed somewhere safe to be. Nick decides to visit Romeo a week after he arrives back in town, right on his birthday; he offers him a gift, and insists they go out together. "Meet me at The Hive Cafe".

That is where this scene takes place. Romeo arrives first and Nick does too but later than planned. He approaches from behind, scaring the young inventor who was lost in his notebook and headphones, playing "Enjambre".

— Did ya have to come here with that thing on your hair?.

Nick points at Romeo’s hair, mocking the outstanding white strand. 

— Oh, that? It’s some stupid experiment failure from when I was little.

— Huh, I thought it was on purpose. Y’know, to fit with the “crazy scientist” look.

— It’s not. Now, no matter what I do, it just grows back white anyways.

— Cool…

The simple answer hits Romeo, just now realizing how unproductive that small talk was. He sighs and fixes his posture on the booth seat, and so does his friend. They stare, silent, with the tension of old friends left abandoned for years, but whose habits remain well within their memory.

— So, you wanted to meet. - Romeo tracks the conversation back.

— Not really. - Nick simply shrugs. - But those losers did.

Nick points to the Cafe doors, asking his friend to turn. Romeo’s expression slowly drops and fills with shock. He finds no other than the trio of heroes he thought he’d left behind, making their entrance, complementing the sunlight entering behind them. His eyes open wide and he squishes the notebook page he was working on before.

— Nick, are you fucking kidding me?

I'm in a facebook group for papa louie fandom and on May/June we caught a large group of people headcanoning Orion as a pedophile and shipping him with an underage Rithy... so I'll add that to my list, sadly. And for the poeple that will say "Oh its just an age gap", that is also wrong, BUT the fanfics or ideas for their ship were based on abuse and manipulation.

I love the pj masks but it doesn't come from them being a childhood show, I have a little sister who was OBSESSED with them. She loves cats and her favorite color is blue so of course everything, including her own REAL cat was Catboy themed in my house for yearss 😭 So I binged the show with her a lot, however we didn't make it far into the series so I'm missing so much loreeeee

Anyways the point of this post is that yeah I support and have always been a beacon of "be cringe be free" but idk if it's weird that I get into the fandom as an adult, like 20 year old actual adult binging a children's show because I'm working on an AU / Fanfic and need to know all the lore...

And I also feel weird because other people make their au's or reboot ideas intended for teens/young adults but I write for myself and dive into adult themes. To this point I've kinda AU'd them so much that I may have OCfied them ngl I write about them as adults, in adult settings/situations (drinking, flirting, raging, violent villain fights, threatening). Because I take their source material as background, who they were and why it would make sense for them to be the adults they are now, not exactly as inspiration.

CHAT IM SCARED I'm about to check if I get hired as a script writer and I'll be so fucking scared if I did and so sad if I didn't BUT this is also a good opportunity to start formating my scripts better
