The first time Lance used hisĀ āgiftā was when he and Hunk claimed to be giving the Galra their lions. As soon as Lanceās face appeared on the screen on the ship every Galra in the room stopped what they were doing and just stared at the Blue Paladin. It wasnāt until Lance closed the coms down did the Galran move, but even then they moved with cocky features.Ā
They flew ships in loop formations, they brought out bigger guns and shot them not even at the Blue lion just shot the guns in hopes the Blue Paladin would be amazed. This however lead to their ship being destroyed and the Red lion being stolen from the Galraās grasp.Ā
Explaining how that happen to Lord Zarkon was the weirdest conversation ever.Ā
This happened countless times. The Galra would be fighting them with full force but as soon as they caught a glimpse of the tall, tan boy they would stop and show off. On time a Galran picked up his fellow soldier and threw him just to show Lance his strength. Lance was low key impressed but decided not to show it because he was scary strong.Ā
Lance fell in love with his new found ability. Back on Earth no one would show off to him and no one wanted to give Lance the time of day. With this ability Lance felt useful for once.Ā
The team soon picked up on how the Galra acted and Coran immediately requested that Lance was to be removed from going on missions where he would be face to face with a Galra.Ā
āPrincess I think we should because we canāt have Lance being put in that much danger!ā Coran actually stomped his foot at the princess.Ā
Lance stood in the background attempting to say that he still wanted ti fight but it fell on closed ears.Ā
āI agree with Coran! The Galra are always trying to woo Lance and show off! What if they kidnap him?ā Hunk anxiously ran his fingers through his hair.Ā
The entire team agreed with Coran and sai that they needed to keep their Blue Paladin safe but Allura shushed them with a wave of her hand.Ā
āPaladin please, do you not see how much this could help us? How helpful this could be to us?ā Allura looked around the room and stopped when her eyes reached Lanceās.Ā āLance do you mind going on these missions?āĀ
āNo princess.ā Lance bit his inner cheek, please donāt take away the only thing Iām good at.
Allura exhaled and looked back at the team.Ā āAs we know every time the Galra see Lance they stop fighting and show off to him. Lance could literally walk in a control room and tell everyone to lock themselves in the loading bay and they all would. Lance can do great things for our fight against the Galra.ā Allura folded her hands in front of her body.Ā āSince Lance wantās to continue fighting we will not stop him. Understood?āĀ
Everyone grumbled yes and Lance continued what he did best.Ā
Every mission Lance would distract the Galra and the rest of the team would do what they needed. Get information, save prisoners, etc and Lance would just watch the Galra in amusement.Ā
It was fun watching people show off to you and Lance was enjoying himself, but he always had to spend time with his team after and tell them that he wasnāt leaving. Not his fault they got jealous of Lance.Ā
