People always talked about getting off work and just wanting to indulge in a glass of wine, but Hyuna wasn’t really one of them. Alcohol just never tasted great, not unless it was masked with a hundred different juices and syrups. Yet here she was, sitting next to him with a smile on her face as she nursed a drink in her hands too. “Hm… looking for love? Or maybe drowning my sorrows, which…” Giving him a once over, she perked a brow up and took a sip of her drink. “Are you okay? You look like you’re doing the latter.”

“i do?” he questioned, which probably didn’t help his defense whenever he should come up with one, “ah...” so he didn’t, bringing up a hand to smooth his fingers through short locks with a sigh. it wasn’t often that things like this got to him. kyungsoo was never one to be desperate for a relationship, or even just a warm body in his bed, but he was susceptible to these feelings like any body else. “it’s just... for some reason i came home after work today, and my apartment just seemed so much bigger and emptier than usual. it started to really bug me. i’m just hoping it’s a one-time thing though.”

performing always comes with an adrenaline rush – and, when the night’s set finally comes to a close, haru’s throat hoarse and his fingers buzzing, still, it is no exception to the rule. his heart beats wildly in his chest as he hops off stage, taeyeon’s laughter ringing in his ears, and he begins to head immediately towards the bar to grab a drink for himself, still floating on this high.

( and… maybe it’s this adrenaline rush that has haru pause when he feels the tapping on his shoulder. this adrenaline rush, that has him actually stop to give the stranger the time of a day at all. )

he drags a hand under his chin to wipe away the sweat that lingers there and quirks a brow, gaze flickering downwards to give him a brief once-over – older, probably. kinda out of place – before returning to focus on the stranger’s face – man, those dark circles could give haru a run for his money. “depends,” the guitarist finally replies, barely able to hear his voice over the blood rushing in his ears. “i don’t know if they’d be gigs you’d be interested in.”

kyungsoo took a swig of the drink in his hand, brows furrowing at the guitarist’s answer, “what makes you say that? i literally just said you guys were good.” he hadn’t failed to notice the look he had been given though, he must stick out like a sore thumb in a place like this. not like he really cared, he had as much right as anybody to come out for a good time.  

as he managed to get a better look at the guy, somewhere distant in his memory kyungsoo could swear that he had seen him somewhere before. they definitely hadn’t met prior to this occasion, but the guitarist’s face was familiar. “in fact... i feel like i’ve seen you before...” kyungsoo started to say, shifting his weight as he thought out loud. he hadn’t seen this guy at the pharmacy for sure, or-- then he remembered, for certain. (not really, but kyungsoo thought this was a closer guess). “were you an idol or something? if you’re who i think you are, my ex girlfriend was really into you, but your hair looks a lot better now.”

his eyes continued to read through the comments he was getting, although he knew he should have been faster with getting his clothes off. he turned his gaze away for a moment, tugging one of his drawers open to grab the unlabeled bottle of lube he would need. once he was drawn back toward the comments, he caught something. a new viewer. someone who has never commented before, maybe a silent watcher who thought he would need a little more than his own hand. his lips twitched in amusement before brown eyes gazed into the camera.

“i think i’ve had a change of plans,” he murmured loud enough for his viewers to hear, his lip caught between his teeth, “i’ll take out my biggest toy and show you guys how well i can take it.” he nodded, the flush on his cheeks turning a brighter shade of red. he didn’t mention the user’s name, just sent a wink toward the camera.  “next time, if i want to be fisted, i’ll make sure to have someone do it for me.”

with a nod toward the camera, he reached under his bed for his biggest toy, waving it in front of the camera with a playfully smirk. his eyes lit up then darkened as he took part of the toy into his mouth, adjusting the camera so that his bed was completely in the frame.

his breath hitched in his throat as chanyeol announced that he was going to change the program, paraphrasing what kyungsoo had typed. as if the deepening flush on the camboy’s cheeks wasn’t enough, the wink into the camera-- at kyungsoo, was a definite shot to the heart. he didn’t care about the compaints, and hopefully chanyeol wouldn’t either, especially as it seemed like they still wouldn’t be leaving the show.

kyungsoo typed the praise quickly with one hand with expert precision, without looking away from his computer screen to watch chanyeol wave the toy at the audience. the switch in his eyes as he pressed the toy past his pink, soft looking lips sent another shot through kyungsoo, this time straight to his groin. his fingers abandoned the waistband just to smooth over the tent growing in his sweats as he watched further before lifting his hips to pull them down, humming as the cool air hit his hot skin.

Maybe it was just her ego clouding her mind for her to think he could be speaking of her, especially since she had showed up looking like a mess after work. “Keep ‘em coming, I like this side of you.”

“what could i be trying to get from you?” kyungsoo’s plush lips twitched into a small smile as he looked her over again. what was obviously a hard day at work hadn’t erased the fact that she was beautiful. “i know you probably hear it a lot from guys that don’t mean well-- but i’m being sincere, you’re very pretty.”

This girl would not shut the fuck up: about the movie, about how cold it is, about how distracting the couples in front were. However, Sehun is practically paid to smile at anything she says, keep her warm in his arms, and distract her from everything else with his lips (mainly just to shut her up). So they fool around for abit, his hands playing David Cop-a-feel and sneaking to places unlit by the screen ahead of them.

The movie comes to an end and so does she. She excuses herself to the ladies’ first, completely disregarding the tent in his jeans. Sehun tells himself it’s okay, that he’s used to such… emotional pain. He tactfully wipes his slicked fingers by the edge of his seat (so he’s not a model citizen, big deal) before he pulls out his phone to check for any new messages. And the next thing he knows, a stranger is in his lap… Which is a common occurrence, to say the least. He gets a good look at them first and then shrugs. “No it’s okay, please– You’re welcome to sit for as long as you like.” He could easily be mistaken for being sarcastic, but… the pressure helps, even if a little.

he wasn’t normally such a klutz, but he could blame the jerk sitting with his legs stretched out as far as they could go. it didn’t help how embarrassed he was in real time though. when the stranger spoke up, kyungsoo thought it was sarcasm and he was about to tell him off, until he felt it as he was about to push himself up. seriously--

“i don’t know if i want to,” despite his words, kyungsoo just turned to face him and see the poor lighting did nothing to mask the stranger’s good looks but he still went on, “you’ve got some bad taste if that movie got you worked up. and who do you think you are, sitting around here like you own the place, huh? other people gotta walk around here too.”  he still took his sweet time picking himself up off this guy’s boner, nudging a gangly leg with the toe of his shoe.

Her lips curve into a smile as he nudges her, returning the nudge. “It’s okay. It really is.” Once they walk into the cafe, it was busy as usual. Maybe it was because of the weather but it was a little more on packed side. It was a better atmosphere compared to what they just went through, cold rain and heavy wind. Hyesun turns to look at the menu, craving something warm for the lost of body heat. “Do you want anything?”

despite how packed the cafe was, the warmth was still quite welcome. kyungsoo reached up to brush his fingers through his damp hair as he shuffled inside with her, eyes lifting up to scan the menu to find his usual order. “i’ll have a medium coffee please, black. what do you want, hyesunah?” he looked over at her, and before she had the chance to protest he handed over enough cash to the barista to cover drinks for the both of them and a little treat if she wanted one.

The response made Jonghyun snicker. He imagined it– him, being a terrible cook, burning everything he tried to make, pans and other kitchen tools flying around as he frantically tried to get a handle on things. Nah, that was a visual solely for the mind; it wouldn’t ever be reality. 

( KKT → kyungsoo. ) i’ve met some people would burn everything they tried to make, from fried eggs to instant ramen. ( KKT → kyungsoo. ) i was scared to let them into my kitchen again after they basically ruined my oven when trying to bake a cake. kyungsoo’s phone continued to vibrate against the counter where he left it as he went to the drop-off window to deal with a last-minute pharmacy shopper. (this guy seriously thought he didn’t recognize him and his phony prescription). “sorry, it looks like we’re out of that strength, and i don’t think we’ll be able to get any more until next month,” he handed it back to him as the guy grumbled and took off before returning to what he was doing– which was nothing.

5. Does your muse have any irrational fears that hold them back in life? Do they come from experience (trauma) or is it, for instance, part of a belief system they have?

it’d be heights and the things that go along with them (ie flying), so he has never traveled outside of korea or anywhere in korea that he couldn’t drive to. there’s no real trauma or reasoning behind it, he just doesn’t want to. 

12. Is the way your muse sees themselves similar to how others see them or is it (very) different, due to mental illness/keeping secrets/etc.?

likely pretty different. when people see kyungsoo they probably just see a small, soft, meek and mild guy that gives old ladies their pills and annual flu shots. unless they’ve known him for a while and got to know him deeply, they wouldn’t know about the anger issues and the results of them in the past, because he’s been medicated and has found more constructive and safe outlets. he’s just a different person than how he’s probably perceived because he’s grown more confidence and self control, and has become more self aware.
