okie dokes i get if ur tired of this but isn't there a lARGE difference between hating a group of people for literally ... no reason and then hating a group of people ( forget the 'those were my ancestors not me' stuff for a hot second ) for systematically dehumanizing you ?? like both are rude. af. but they're still vERY different and it's unfair to poc to equate them. however, i respect you for speaking ur mind regardless !!

Hi, grey friend. Yes. Absolutely. There’s a huge difference between the two, there is no denying that. Thing is we have to remember their is a difference between racism and prejudiced. Racism mostly refers to one class of people being able to not only hate, but to also hold another group of people back (slavery, the holocaust, etc). Prejudice, on the other hand, is pretty much to hate any group of people for any set reason. They are both hateful reactions, they would both be classified as hate. 

I’m not in any way trying to equate them. I’m not in anyway saying reverse racism exist (because a minority cannot hold the majority back in a way that would actually stunt their progress, period. point. blank.) What I’m saying is this: To hate anyone, any ONE group of people because you’ve personally decided they are “ALL” a specific thing is fucked up, no matter how you slice it. 

I’m black. I’m black from my hair, to my skin, to my nose, all from my black mother and father. I’ve always been black. Every other part of me is of another minority. I know the struggle. I swear to God, I still think about being 5 and how a little white girl yell who didn’t know me yelled “N*gger” at me from across the street. I still remember a white teacher using “Spic” in general conversation, and how I was offend because of my Mexican roots. I know what it’s like. I know what it is to compare myself to white friends and feel inferior.
