I think about Temenos's story a lot. In his search for the Truth, tragedy upon tragedy strike, and even at the end of his story, he doesn't really get a chance to process any of it. I don't think it's until Vide is defeated, when the full scope of the Truth of what happened to Crick, the Pontiff, Roi, is revealed, that the dam finally can't hold back any longer 💔

(Beyond this point, I will be gushing about this moment in the game, so if you have seen this painting and don't really get the context behind it and don't really wanna spoil it for yourself, I suggest you scroll on by)

So, I have been playing Octopath Traveler 2 for a while now. I started with Ochette as my protagonist (because out of the main themes in the soundtrack I loved hers the most -- at least at the time before I started playing the game), but as I played the other characters, Castti began growing on me.

And then Chapter 3 happened and I... I didn't expect the gutpunch of a revelation that came. My friend yelled out in shock, I was rendered speechless and didn't let the game proceed with the next dialogue for quite some time as we cried our eyes out.

Fun fact: it was the eve of Mother's Day when we got to this chapter, and just before this moment, I had just beaten Mother in Throné's story. It was an emotionally... interesting weekend.

It has been over a week. Almost two, I'd say. And I am still not over it. Clearly.

Anyways, Castti's main theme is my favourite now.

Osvald does not tolerate Harvey Davidson motorcycles, ESPECIALLY when his daughter got kidnapped. His murder motivation went from “revenge” to “get the fuck away from my daughter” and honestly? Slay

partitio yellowil is genuinely the character ever because he is very generous and kind but he is ALSO willing to throw hands to protect the working class and i think thats beautiful
