Y'know, I'm always gonna be a little bit feral about the fact that this grouchy introvert was canonically so lonely that she built herself a custom robotic emotional support animal...

...which just happened to be so perfectly compatible with this random dweeb's vibes that they instantly imprinted on each other, by accident, the first time they made physical contact...

...and then, as if that wasn't bad enough, as soon as they quit arguing all the damn time, this manic pixie dumpster fire of a man starts actually helping the emotional support robot do her job...

...which basically means that our girl here gets to spend the entire game going through the Five Stages of Grief, as she processes the idea that this total doofus...

...might, in fact, be the brand-new very best friend that she wanted all along. <3

THISS OH MY GOD 😭 Chai and Peppermint's friendship is so so very important to me. They had such an impact on one another.. like Chai says in the game, they sanded down each others sharp edges. It really makes me happy seeing Peppermint let herself be carefree and have fun by the end of the game. She has the family she needed now ❤️‍🩹

Someone asked if I could show Chai's shirt pattern, so here it is.

Important note - Mine is designed to be tucked in. There's a little yellow line in the editor that will show how much of a shirt will be cut off when it's tucked (pointed out in the second image) so be sure to keep that in mind if you plan to make it how I did.

Please teach me how you draw 808 and Chais Scarf so well

When I draw 808, and a lot of other things, I try to think about what shapes she's made of.

For 808, it's mostly circles and round forms. I simplify her cheek tufts into points and typically keep her paws a little bit smaller than her legs since she's kinda chubby. lol

For Chai's scarf, I like breaking the lines up into 3-4 sections and keeping it angular. It makes it easy to draw consistently.

I'm not sure how else to explain since I'm not the best at laying out my processes, but I hope this helps !
