hello, it’s been a while, i am now thinking about f1 to a degree that is probably not healthy so time to analyze the seating in this pic before i start climbing my own walls

-off the bat look at charles and pierre being bestieeees 💕💕💕💕 my two favs are best friends and i love it sosososo much

-i’ve been told the tuft of hair behind pierre is arvid? so rip to the only rookie getting mike wazowski’d but also cute that the vcarb boys sat together

-franco, checo, and nico just seem like they would never run out of things to talk about, i have no proof of this but like all three of them would be yapping all night, franco would probably teach checo about some online fad that nico’s already heard about from gabi but he would listen politely anyways

-inspector george wants lewis to come back to mercedes so he can stop getting his ass beat by a 19 year old

-also i do think it’s lowkey funny that george, lewis, carlos, and max, who i would say are all pretty well established as like the some of the biggest current faces of f1 are down at the end next to stefano but then lando, your literal world champion, is all the way on the other end?? idk i’m getting ahead of myself but the main seat that made absolutely no sense to me was lando what the hell is he doin over there

-max has his kids right next to him 💕💕💕 also it’s the charles next to pierre and ollie next to gabi of it all that makes me confident this seating arrangement was natural and not assigned

the way im so secondhand embarrassed by how hard chrissy and stephenie were sucking jonathan’s dick during FTC, moreso for chrissy than stephenie. like we all knew stephenie was a maga asshole and would obviously do some bullshit like volleying hard for the guy she was voted out protecting even if he didn’t deserve it, but like why was chrissy so up jonathan’s ass too?? i was never one to say chrissy should have won over ben but i’ve always regarded her as a powerful competitor and a strong physical and strategic player, but you wouldn’t know it based on last night with all her drooling and batting her eyes over every word that came out of jonathan’s mouth.

i also think it would have been less icky if they hadn’t both been so vicious towards aubry in their worship of jonathan. a good contrast to me was emily raising the point about every vote needing to go through joe - while she didn’t end up voting for him, she brought one of joe’s virtues to the jury’s attention because she felt like it deserved consideration, and WITHOUT attempting to make the other players look weaker in contrast. stephenie saying “no disrespect” and then immediately telling aubry her game was non-committal and she never took any action was like the ugliest thing i’ve seen at FTC in a long time, and i’m so glad dee called her out for that bullshit right away.

but yeah, just so gross that these two women (but especially chrissy) would put themselves down like that and in the end tarnish the FTC of another amazingly deserved woman winner in aubry bracco

i went to see hamilton in theatres yesterday and it was very fun and nostalgic but also i had kind of forgotten with how much of a meme lin manuel miranda has become that the reason hamilton was so incredibly successful is because the writing is amazing?? so here’s three different verses from hamilton that i forgot about but upon rehearing yesterday was like oh my god that’s right this shit is fireeeee

hey!! if superman 2025 was your first introduction to nicholas hoult, or at least your first time recognizing his absolute greatness and amazing talent (like so many articles and posts on the internet i keep seeing), then yay!! welcome to my world where i think about him 25/8 :) he is a HELLA prolific actor, so i have a couple movie recommendations if you want to see more of him!

-if you want more superhero movies: X-Men First Class! he plays beast in all the x-men prequels, but first class is my personal favorite and he is a standout part of an already strong ensemble cast!

-if you want a comedy: Renfield! renfield is the movie that made me fall in love with nicholas hoult, he is so adorable and pathetic meow meow in it and you just want to bundle him up and take care of him, and his chemistry with nick cage as dracula is fantastic

-if you want a drama: Juror #2! this film is on the slower and mellower side, but hoult still kills it with a performance involving a lot of heavier topics

-if you want a horror: Nosferatu! he plays thomas hutter, and this man is having the worst week of his life so this could also serve as wish fulfillment if you were wishing to see lex luthor running and crying in fear for two hours after what he did lmao

-if you want a romcom: Warm Bodies! god this movie is so cheesy but you can’t help but smile, and hoult’s narration really carries the whole thing for me

-if you want to see him bald again: Mad Max Fury Road! war boy is my son. please protect him at all costs.

i loved the superman movie, but i also spent 6 years of my life deep in the MCU hellhole, and even though i’m not in it anymore it still lingers, such as when the mask on ultraman fell off and i was looking at a shot of a pale man with intense blue eyes and a dirty brown bob and i actually went “…BUCKY BARNES??” before realizing it was just david corenswet part 2

and i thought i was crazy for this until we got in the car on the ride home and my dad goes “listen, the clone… was that sebastian stan??”

when i think about skysolo i can either get really deep with it and think about how i think my love for it is fundamentally based on an internal rebellion because growing up i was led to believe that hanleia was the pinnacle of romance and being able to challenge heteronormativity in my upbringing by embracing a ship from 50 years ago and i feel like i get to connect with the fandom nerds of the past and appreciate the literal crumbs they were working with and be happy to see how their narrative and connection still shines through all the years with absolutely no acknowledgement from anyone at lucasfilm/disney

my parents haven’t seen the last few episodes of andor so i’m rewatching with them and tell me why in episode 9 cassian LITERALLY picks up the knife that luthen will use in the next episode to kill himself??? but when you watch them a week apart you would never notice, but UGH the overarching storytelling of this show,,, I may need to rewatch the whole thing now
