Best Compliment

Someone wrote to me, telling me that she misses me. One of my ex staff.. no one has any idea of how much it means to me, to feel appreciated. It's a validation that I have needed for a long time and have not gotten. Thank you..

Grandma

Grandma was admitted on Sunday. She fainted in the toilet early morning. Kor was there to take care of her and send her to the hospital. She pooped in her pants, black poop.

I watched her as I visited her, old, frail and angry, cursing my auntie to the end.. I smiled to myself, happy that she is still more concerned about hatred than her own health. At 88, she has lived a ripe old age but I can’t help but wonder what’s she’s really feeling inside. How does it feel to know that you’re dying soon.

I’ve lived the last few years of my life fearful of the fear I have to go thru during that time of my life than fearing death itself. How ironic.

The feeling is mutual...

I read the tweets, I saw your posts, and I know it all. I wanted to tell you, the feeling was mutual. You didn't like me, I didn't choose to manage you. We had to survive being a team, in an awkward kind of manner. I hated it, with every minute of my term, I hated it. I wish you success one day, so that you will have a team who steps on you from bottom up. I hope u taste it all one day. I didn't deserve you, or anything you did to me. And FYI, I didn't choose to be what you didn't like about me, I was either born to be it, or my paths in life gave it to me. You don't know, I spend every day of my life trying to figure out what it is. Be happy, stay cool, because it doesn't last.
