Back in the workshop to finish up for the introduction party at MUVE - some very nice details are coming up: A height adjustable dock, stronger sides amd an all new lighting system to name a few. Looking so much forward to seeing people use it friday! #Soloshell #newgear #videofootage #reachthestars #diysuccess #excited

DIY toddler step stool complete & in use! I'm glad I used the white chalk paint as a top coat, as it lets some of the dark walnut underneath peek through for that warm, rustic feel. Unforeseen consequence... water being dumped everywhere by #tylerck #diystepstool #diywithscrapwood #thediaperdaily #diysuccess #chalkpaint
So, work is a bit dragging today and I decided to do something for the hubby. He found a DIY candle making without wax. It failed horribly and I think it was all because of how he decided to heat the vegetable shortening. He put it into a pot, heated it, then poured it into the glass and it instantly shattered since it wasn’t made to take that type of heat.
Anyway, I found an old candle I didn’t use anymore and decided to do it the way of the instructions. I cleaned out the container, heated the shortening in the microwave, then added scent, wick, and froze it. Turns out, I made a successful DIY candle. The wick might be a little crooked, but it still burns and smells like a candle. So, I call that a win. Hopefully the hubby will approve.
It works! #DIYsuccess
