Introduction and Rules
Hi! Hello, okay! Without further ado let me introduce Appreciation Alley!
My name is Rhia or Emrys, I'm an intermediate artist myself, and I really love seeing others art and people's reactions to it! I will be the primary mod for this blog.
This blog is largely focused on reviving a little bit of Tumblrs reblog culture alongside encouraging beginner artists and artists with low(er) engagement!
I recognize that this is a fairly arbitrary thing to say, so for now I'm going to say its anyone under fifty reblogs, however that might be adjusted as I get used to running this blog! Please be patient with me!
How it works is AppreciationAlley will reblog a piece of art with at least one thing that I liked about it!
(I will probably start with fandoms that I am directly in and the OC tag, just for ease of access, but feel free to dm, send an ask about, or submit artists from other fandoms!)
You can also participate! Please feel free to submit art that you like (with a link so I can also reblog the original piece!) and at least one that you liked about it!
Finally, if you've read all the way to the end, thank you for supporting this project of mine and the artists that make it possible.

RULES
Number one is please be respectful towards anyone you see here. AppreciationAlley doesn't tolerate any form of harassment or hate towards the artists. This is focused on uplifting and encouraging, not critique unless it is explicitly asked for. If any of it occurs directly on one of this blogs posts it will be deleted
AppreciationAlley does not accept AI art. Period. There is no negotiation on this rule
AppreciationAlley will not, at this time accept Harry Potter fanart as Rowling has stated, several times, and at length, that any show of support for her works is taken as support for her policies. This means I personally do not believe that, in good conscience I can accept and promote Harry Potter works while also supporting my trans siblings
If you are submitting anything CREDIT THE ARTISTS. Anyone found to stolen artwork or directly traced artwork and claimed it as their own will be blocked and all their submissions/artworks will be taken down
