Hi guys! I thought I should just share my whole mini little library of Project Hail Mary-related things so they're all in one place:
It includes:
A telesync of the movie
My transcript of the movie (more on that here)
Audio recordings of the movie
A PDF of the book
The full audiobook
A copy of Andy Weir's doc on Eridians
A draft of the screenplay for the film from 2022
An audio recording of the director's commentary
The audiobook, audio recordings, and commentary all have their properties programmed so they (should) work just like songs with a track number, album cover, artist, and so on if you download them.
There are two audios of the movie, one is the entire film untouched and one is that same audio cut up and broken down into separate scenes for convenience.
Additionally, there are two versions of the transcript, one with time stamps that match the audio and one without. The time stamps (+ their titles from the audio) are outlined in that version, so if you double-click on that tab or click "show outline," they'll all show up and you can pick a specific scene.
The first few seconds of the commentary are missing unfortunately as my US friend who was kind enough to record it for me had some technical difficulties at the start, but the commentary is about 40-45-ish seconds behind the audio recording if you want to follow along with the movie in your head. If you want to listen to this while seeing the film in theatres, it starts right before the shot of "good luck!" written on Grace's sleeping bag.
As always, if anything's not working right, you notice any mistakes in the transcript, or any of the audios are cut wrong, please let me know and I'll fix it as soon as I can!

My favorite video game to replay is Don’t Starve Together
The game that has the most replay value would be Balatro because it’s has good replay-ability but you get more enjoyment out of it then other more addicting games like flappy bird
this is a time travel fix-it where almost everyone died in the first timeline so MC was sent back to save everyone. They are mostly successful but there will be some unavoidable that will weight on their conscious at the end of the fic.
My main problem here is it would be a really satisfying and sad death but at the same time I love the recovery and comfort process after people read lose a character’s trauma they’ve been hiding
While I kept this vague I will say it’s a My Hero Academia fic because by god has the hyper fixation from 5 years ago come back.
So rn I’m outlining a fic idea I’ve had for years and I know how I want the ending to go,, but,, I thought of an alternative and was curious on people’s thoughts
MC lives Hurt/Comfort and extra eqolouge chapters surrounding mental healing
MC sacrifices themselves but has a good goodbye, satisfying but bittersweet

Either way there’s still a good chance I write both and have the other be a one shot as a could’ve been.
I both love and hate killing off characters (love to see them leave hate to see them go) which is why it’s a time travel fix it in the first place XD

Summary:
Tim is spiraling, but he’s not spiraling alone. Cassie catches him attempting to clone Kon and Bart after their deaths but rather than just stopping him she brings up an old deal the four of them made.
I want to get back into fan fic writing (It’s been like 5 years) so I wrote 2k words and then some of what would be like a pilot chapter and whatnot so uh let me know if this would be a fic y’all are interested in or if I should write one of the other 20 or so concepts I have floating in my head.
Clone Child but it’s Cassie and Tim co-parenting because they’ve become codependent in light of their friend’s deaths
(I posted it on AO3 as well but I don’t know how tumblr works so that’s being posted directly after this goes up)
“Tim.”
“Cassie.”
The green that radiated from the evidence of Tim’s mental decline managed to highlight only his worst features. The boy himself was crowded against the test tube, not to hide himself or what he had been doing, but to hide his own insecurities. To hide how truly gone he had become after the death of his parents and Steph, of his best friends and his mentor.
“What exactly are you doing right now?” Despite it being a question, there was no way Tim could answer. Not in any way that mattered, and Cassie knew that. They both did. So he stayed silent, slowly lowering himself to the floor as his last remaining teammate approached. Her steps were light, not thunderous as Tim expected from her typical anger. Cassie was never one to do things in halves, if she was mad she was sure to let her mind be known. It was the suffocating tenderness in her stride that caused him to actually look at her, to see the understanding in her eyes as she finally made the final steps and lowered to his level. Of course there was understanding, Cassie may have been the only person who could truly relate to Tim, she loved Kon and Bart the same way Tim had, they were- well there was no way to describe it other than that the four of them together were everything.
“Tim, I need you to talk to me. What are you planning to do?” Her tone could have been considered blank if not for the slight waver to it. It was his fault, wasn’t it. He couldn’t even save his remaining friends- how could he even think about saving the ones he’d lost. Bats were never known to be good at communicating, at emotions, but for once Tim needed to be. If not to defend himself, then to make Cassie understand him in some way. To see the value in what he was doing- attempting to do at the very least.
“I can’t. I- What am I supposed to do? What does it look like I’m doing, Cassie?” Tim’s voice was strained and his words were barely coherent. His questions didn't make sense, but they didn’t need to. Cassie always broke through whatever barriers his words carried. It wasn’t as though cracks were beginning to form between the two, those always existed. From the first time Tim refused to reveal his identity to the last time the team had fallen apart. Cassie was just as good at finding the fresh holes to pick at as Tim was at ignoring them until the whole building collapsed on him. Bart wouldn’t have let the walls trap him in, zooming through to spare him from the rubble of his mind. Kon would have held the falling pieces high above their heads until they were able to make it stable enough to stand once more. Bart and Kon weren’t here anymore. Bart and Kon were dead and there was nothing either of the remaining teammates could do about it.
“You’re supposed to actually talk to me- to let me help you- not whatever this is. What it looks like, is you digging yourself deeper into a hole you never intend to climb out of.” Tim’s responding scoff rang out through the stale air of the lab. Of course he had no intention of climbing his way out, he didn’t deserve to. No. He died along with everyone else in his life, his coffin was the Wayne’s gothic manor, filled with people who would prefer to never see him again.
“Tim, you keep pretending that you’ve moved on- that you’re over Conner and Bart, that somehow you’re over everything that’s happened– Bull. Shit. This is why you went after the Brotherhood, this is why you’ve been isolating yourself- NINETY-EIGHT ATTEMPTS TIM! NINETY EIGHT ATTEMPTS AND YOU HAVEN’T SPOKEN TO ME A SINGLE TIME!” There was the anger- they fury that Tim knew he deserved for his sins- for what he was doing to his friends’ images. But none of that mattered.
“I didn’t tell you because I can’t do it.” The confession was as quiet as it was damning. Despite the volume it still cut through the room just as much as Cassie’s brash words had.
“I can’t do it, and I’m failing my best friends. Bart's cells degenerate too fast and Kryptonian DNA is even more unstable then I am right now. Cassie- I’m failing when this is the one thing I can’t fail at.” At some point Tim slid his mask off, fully facing Wonder Girl. He didn’t know what he looked like for sure, but ‘A Wreck’ would probably be considered a generous descriptor. The ball that’s been forming in his chest for months tightened and he wanted to cry. He wanted to cry so bad but he hadn’t let himself, couldn’t. Cassie saw through him regardless, like she always had and always will.
“You aren’t failing them. How would bringing them back like this even remotely make them proud. Tim we both know that it wouldn’t be the same- that they wouldn’t be the same people- Think of Conner, Tim! There’s no way he would want this!”
‘But we could make them close enough.’ Close enough to fill the gap left in Tim’s– left in Cassie’s hearts. Tim wanted so badly to say. He wanted it so badly to be true- but for as much as he was a liar, this was not something he could bring himself to lie about. Not if he wanted his crumbling mind to stay intact, so he said nothing. Let Cassie’s words flow through the room and into his lungs to drown him.
A gentle palm reached his face and Tim couldn’t suppress the flinch that racked through him, the uptick in his heart rate as he waited for a blow to come. He would have deserved it for what he was doing to his friends, to himself. Cassie was rightfully angry, and she was strong enough to make it hurt, and she was reaching out again, and she was wiping the tears from his face.
“Tim, we’re in this together. I won’t let you clone him- them, but I won’t let you go either.” And just like that there was nothing Tim could do. It was like his strings were cut as he collapsed forward into his closest friend. His gasps and hiccups were nearly silent as he cried into her shoulder for what could have been close to an hour- if either of them bothered to keep track of the time anymore. For once the quiet that typically suffocated the bleach scented lab felt lighter. It was Cassie who broke it next, pushing Tim away just enough to look back into his now red rimmed eyes while still keeping as much contact as possible. The touch was just as much for Tim as it was for her.
“We made a deal, the four of us- remember? It was on one of those stupid camping trips where Bart ate all the snacks before we even got finished setting up and then he had to go back out to shop for more–” They had a lot of those. Times where it was just the four of them. Others were always welcome to join but as the years stretched forward less and less took them up on it. Tim stayed quiet, he didn’t trust his voice enough to even begin asking questions to narrow down which trip it was.
“We were sat around the campfire, joking about relationships and how it would be nothing short of a miracle if Bart managed to reproduce. And then he made a joke about the Super Cycle and how it traumatised him, and–” her voice caught on the syllable, “and then you said something about just making Bart a kid, like a twisted version of IVF– or cloning– if he was ever responsible enough for one.” Bart would never be responsible enough for one now.
“And Conner got jealous and he said he should totally also get a kid- never mind that he more than proved his ability to- uh- reproduce. But he was adamant that he should also get a test tube baby from you and then it just snow balled–” Tim knew what she was talking about now. It was a stupid conversation from when they were still just stupid kids- stupid kids who were so easy to kill, who made dying look easy, and why was it them, why was it always the best of them. “–and it ended with us all agreeing that when we got old and decrepit we would just–” Cassie began to trail off a bit, eyes shifting the green container behind Tim.
“That we would just have you swirl us around in a beaker until an actually young ‘just us’ came into the world. Probably kicking and screaming and–” And Tim was gone. Eyes wide and mostly unseeing. His ears weren’t much better with the ringing fading in and out as Cassie continued rambling. Her eyes were still on the glowing tube as her mouth moved, getting faster as Tim watched her own spiral happen in real time. The hand reaching out to hers finally stopped Cassie’s frantic movements as her gaze snapped back to Tim. And finally Tim could see, could hear, could think. Cassie may have been just as crazy as him, and that was exactly what they both needed. They needed the crazy and impossible ideas that gave them hope, because Bart and Kon were dead, but their memories and promises were well and alive.
“I don’t know if I can do it, Cassie. I’ve been failing, and failing, and– I don’t know how much more I can do this by myself.” Because Tim had been by himself, deteriorating what remained of him in this lab that still managed to be claustrophobic on the best of days despite its cavernous size. But Cassie had said she wouldn’t let him go– did that cover him losing himself?
“Then we do it together.” And wasn’t that an idea. To not be alone anymore.
I’m playing hallow knight for the first time (14ish hours in) and im at the part where the little singing miner bug is getting slowly zombified so naturally I have to go
It’s been like five years but I might want to get back into fanfic writing :/
(I only wrote like three things and deleted two of them but whateverrrrr) (also I am so stressed and already have too much to do so very slow updates)
but like also I have only read a single comic ever and it was the first YJ 1989? I think where it was kid world and adult world and all that but I’ve read like too many hundreds of thousands of words of fan fic and am confident enough in my comprehension of fanon vs canon that I can probably fight god
So anyways poll
Uhh pick one and maybe something will happen we’ll see idk (also prob all Tim centric unless stated otherwise) numbers are ranked on how thought out they are
6Crack fic (maybe connected chapters maybe one shot collection)
2YJ platonic soul mark hurt comfort
1Fanficception SpideyHood(Peter centric) inspo from ECM and Die a little sweeter
9Madoka Magica elements (angsty magical girl core)
3The one multiverse Au I drew that’s also inspired by a fic
4Time travel to past but still fails to save most things hurt/comfort TimBern
5Shiva is partially Tim’s mom (dna splicing by the magnificent Janet) and more ✨
7LITTERLY EVERYTHING JJ, Meta powers, Whump, as far from cannon as can
8Casefic but it’s him trying to get away with the crime
