Some of the edgiest queers in the world who constantly talk about romanticizing cannibalism and gore is punk or whatever will turn into the literal pope when confronted with anything realistic having to do with sex like im sorry but people fuck in the park at night sometimes always have and always will and you’re going to have to go about your life without advocating for them to be skinned alive in Alcatraz
Without fail
This also applies to celebrities that white ppl perceive as white or close enough to whiteness (e.g. East Asians)
Without looking them up, ask if you know these ppl and why I’m putting them on this post.
Let’s add three more to the list
There are a number of ppl in the tags stating that they don’t follow or pay attention to celebrities to which I have to say the following points
You’re missing the point of this post, which is that Black artists that are either openly LGBT and/or talk about their experiences are often overlooked when “icons” of the LGBT community are brought up (Taylor Swift for example, is lauded as an icon)
These aren’t just nebulous celebrities that are famous simply for being famous, these are mostly musical artists I picked that put something out into the world and have had discussions of their various experiences that influences their art.
If you really don’t pay attention to celebrities than you’re probably not the people I’m referring to in the original post and probably didn’t need to announce your supposed lack of knowledge about very famous Black artists.
sometimes being a fan of something means not wanting them to make any more of it
White people are a privileged class. They would rather tear the world apart than ever share that power equitably. That's why they ignored BIPOC issues until it affected them. Concentration camps are nothing, especially for profit: Their problem is it happens to them.
Someone should have warned me that I would walk away with new blorbos after reading We Are Robin. I would of appreciated it...
They're so proud of their crimes against humanity.
He's bragging about the genocide and collective punishment of Palestinians.
Believe Zionazis when they tell you who they are.
you have to be kinder to people with memory issues.
you have to be kinder to people who are slow processors.
you have to be kinder to people who don't understand your jokes.
you have to be kinder to people who forget important dates.
you have to be kinder to people with cognitive decline.
you have to be kinder to people who were always this way, too.
you have to be kind. you have to be kind.
you can and should hate america more actually
white people go like “is anyone going to redesign this nonhuman evil character as a poc?” and not wait for an answer
white people go “is anyone going to redesign this nonhuman good character as a white person?” and not wait for an answer
white people can rb but please do not clown
white people really cant give a shit abt anyone but themselves unless held at gunpoint or smth huh?
“what about the poor little white kids just trying to have fun?” what about the poor little kids of color made to feel unsafe and unwelcome in a space that was supposed to be fun?
“why can’t poc just make their own redesigns and we can keep these ones” why cant you realize that your actions have consequences and that you should maybe try to not enforce racist stereotypes??
like ofc its ideal to have VARIETY among both villains AND protagonists, its when your characters look like this
that the issue arises
scratch “can”, white people are encouraged to reblog

Ideas are cooking for my pride outfit.
Oh boy have I pissed off the transphobes with this one.
Duke Thomas and Helena Wayne!!!! I’ve been wanting to draw Duke forever!
Average bloke trying to sound smart: you are not a serious person if you're not reading thousands of pages of this theory stuff Reddit told me to
Smartest person you know: I'm getting really into SpongeBob lately
this is so cool!!
Did you know nonbinary people who were afab and nonbinary people who were amab can have the same genders
Kind of the fucking idea that nonbinary people aren't their assigned sexes, innit
Enforcing the idea that nonbinary people are cisgender women wearing jeans is directly harmful not only in that it's invalidating to nonbinary people afab but because it makes people who were amab think they can't be nonbinary at all, or at least not in the same way as people afab. Which is so fucking disheartening to see. This is not to deny the unique challenges of transfeminized nonbinary people but to draw attention to them; this phenomenon is an effect of transmisogyny
Hey this addition is pretty important context for what I mean btw. Reblog my transfeminism, they
