TEEN ANGST! TEEN ANGST! TEEN ANGST!!

I absolutely lifted this theme off of @arcanaprentiss and her very cute comic about Miss Prentiss first coming to Vesuvia. Highly recommended. Anyway, Vee came to Vesuvia on their own when they were 14, (I imagine they’re a year older than Muriel, so he’s 13, Asra is maybe 9/10) they immediately became friends with Asra, and slowly but surely worked their way into Muriel’s heart too.

Asra and Vee tried their best to distract Lucio, but three or four years later Muriel was forced to enter the coliseum. UnU Still, Asra and Vee would sneak him out from time to time for a normal day on the town, but as the years went on he would agree to it less and less before completely isolating himself before he escaped for good. And also waiting a couple years before finally bringing Vee in on the secret like he did Asra because he’s a sulky butt like that.

💉 - how did they react to learning about the circumstances of their death? do they hold anything against asra/julian/lucio over it?🧨 - who do they like least out of all of the cast? do they think of anyone as an enemy?

(Sorry this took so long to get to! X-X)

💉- Vee was largely accepting of the realization of their death. I think knowing that they were at peace with it at the time it happened helped a lot. In general they very much hold Lucio accountable for the plague, but they don’t necessarily hold him directly responsible for the way they died.

🧨- Definitely Lucio. They think his actions are willfully and dangerously reckless and selfish, and they hate the way he seems to revere wasteful indulgence while ignoring the needs to Vesuvia’s people.

💉- Shi did not take it well. She was horrified at the fact she died at all, not to mention the gruesome way it happened. She blames everyone a little bit, Asra for running away, Julian for not noticing she was gone, and Lucio for bringing on the plague in the first place. Deep down though she knows that no one could have prevented her death (well except Lucio lmao).

🧨- As far as humans go, Valerius. She likes luxury almost as much as him, but hates how stuck up and rude he is about it. It’s very un-cute. Non-human she’s generally distrusting of all the Arcana, but obviously sees the Devil as a huge adversary.

💉- Abeela is haunted by the circumstances of her death. The plague in general just kills the empath in her, feeling all the suffering it caused. With time and support however, I think she is fully able to move on and embrace the future. She has a hard time blaming anyone for anything, but I don’t think she would ever fully trust Lucio after finding out what his contribution to all of this was.

🧨- It’s hard for Abeela to hate anyone, but she is not a fan of any of the courtiers; except Volta, she’s okay.
