In April I saw a feature of homemade maps by City Lab (link at bottom), where people had used the concept of maps (and their usage in navigating or recording a new world), to describe their current lives. I've missed their submission deadline, but I wanted to make one anyway.
Since late March I've been limited to the radius around my house (as have most of us). The world was reset, and since then I've been unlocking different parts of the new world, like you do in a computer game.
It's all been a bit unreal- as if Before is gone, and nothing exists outside of what's in front of me, and the important parts of the map have changed. The city centre is forgotten, roads and paths are the same when you're on foot, and green spaces are very important.
Also charted are the two shops, a few memorable moments and discoveries, and the hearts which represent friends' houses (just those I went past).
Now things are changing again, and the only thing I'm sure of as that they're not going back to 'normal'.
