blair  stared  at  the  craft  supplies  scattered  across  the  table,  a  mess  of  glitter,  wire,  cellophane,  and  glue  sticks  all  waiting  to  be  used.  there  was  still  so  much  left—plenty  of  material  for  him  to  try  again,  to  make  another  set  of  fairy  wings  that  didn’t  look  like  something  a  kid  had  put  together  in  a  rush.  “ahhh,  i  don’t  know…”  he  muttered,  “i  feel  like  i’m  gonna  mess  up  again.  at  least  your  wings  are  good  enough  to  give  to  someone  else…”

yohan   thought   he'd   have   a   knack   with   arts   and   crafts   .   the   framed   fine   arts   diploma   hanging   in   his   room   was   pretty   much   self-destructing   after   producing   such   wings   ,   but   it's   not   like   he   didn't   try   .   he   did   have   a   great   time   putting   it   together   ,   but   it   definetly   wasn't   the   result   he   was   hoping   for   .   the   idea   looked   better   in   his   head   .   "   there's   really   no   right   or   wrong   here   though   ,   "   he   muses   ,   offering   blair   a   smile   for   reassurance   .   "   you're   not   gonna   mess   up   ,   i'll   help   you   make   one   ,   then   we   can   both   wear   our   wings   the   entire   night   .   "

"   not   at   all   ,   i   would   think   that   you're   smart   for   taking   home   food   from   the   snack   carts   because   they'd   only   be   available   during   this   event   .   "

"   honestly   ,   my   only   fear   is   that   the   game   master   is   making   fun   of   us   for   making   the   wrong   assumptions   and   they   give   up   and   just   give   us   all   the   hints   ,   "   she   tries   to   make   light   of   the   situation   ,   masking   the   fact   that   she's   overthinking   all   of   this   ,   as   she   does   with   most   things   .   "   hmm   ...   it's   been   five   minutes   ,   "   nabi   quips   ,   walking   towards   the   phone   .   "   maybe   it   rings   every   ten   minutes   ,   so   we   should   wait   ?   what   do   you   think   ?   "
